David offers his clients over 30 years of experience in tax and accounting for individuals, businesses and estates. He is a 1975 Cum Laude graduate of the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He became certified in 1985. He has ten years prior experience as a systems accountant, cost and managerial accountant and chief accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. To be admitted to and retain membership in the AICPA, CPA's engaged in the practice of public accounting are required to practice in firms that are enrolled in AICPA approved monitoring programs that are designed to ensure that services performed by member firms are performed in accordance with AICPA professional standards. AICPA peer reviews have concluded that the accounting firm conforms to all requirements of professional standards as set forth by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Sylvia Mlcak, David's wife, joined the firm in March of 1987 and became an Enrolled Agent in May of 1991. Enrolled Agents are individuals licensed by the federal government to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service..
