I cannot believe what I read from ""not so good"". Do you have any idea what you are talking about?\r \r My girls have been dancing at DDD since they were babies. The environment created by the teachers and Miss Barb is AWESOME for them. Miss Barb is the next BEST thing to mom for all of these kids. She absolutely LOVES them and it shows. \r \r I cannot believe you would let your pettiness because she may not have addressed you immediately cause you to write such garbage. Do you even KNOW her?? Do you NOT see all that she does for ALL of the children? \r \r Miss Barb is amazing - she manages that place and does her best NOT to lose her mind when WE, the crazy parents, are in her face asking the same questions over and over again. She is ALWAYS kind and if she is having a bad day(WHICH EVERYONE IS ENTITLED TO NOW AND THEN) she makes a point to tell us that she is struggling with things and asks us to have some patience.\r \r How she keeps it together is beyond me. She is making costumes and fixing things when WE - the parents - screw something up. I personally make it a point to be there to assist with costumes and stuff whenever I can - not only for my kids - but for yours as well.\r \r I hope that Mr. Lenny reads this so he knows what a true GEM he has in Miss Barb. She totally ROCKS!!! Pros: Awesome environment for children. Cons: They allow great teachers to leave for not good reasons more

Are you freakin' kidding me? Evidentally the parent who thinks Ms. Barb is grumpy is a NEW addition to our familiy at David de Marie. My children have been dancing at this school since they were 3 yrs old and they ABSOLUTELY LOVE MS BARB!!!!!! Where else in this city can you feel comfortable to drop your LITTLE GIRL off and know she will be safe and someone is watching at all times??? Ms Barb is a wonderful lady and takes great care of all the young ladies who dance there. If you have danced there for years (like us) you will know, Ms Barb is like a second mother to these girls. (Talk to alumni), All of the graduating girls have danced there all their lives and usually stay there all day, also once they become of age they are not only dancers but assistants as well.\r How nice would you be ALL THE TIME? She takes care of thousands of OTHER PEOPLES CHILDREN on the daily basis. When things overwhelm us at times we all become frustrated and if she ignored you believe me it was not on purpose, what about yourself? are you the nicest person all the time? I THINK NOT! Ms. Barb is a peach and we are LUCKY to have her there keeping that mommy eye on our kids.\r How nice would YOU be ALL THE TIME if you had to juggle Mr. Lenny, the teachers, the dancers, THE PARENTS, the schedules, the competitions, the shows, the recitals, and ""oh my god"" the beautiful costumes(that she takes her own time to ADD bells, bows, sequences, whistles etc)??\r IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT HERE PLEASE GO! We are an award winning David de Marie family and don't need your negativity this year or any year. Kick rocks!!!!!! Pros: Wonderful environment for children from ages 3 to 18 more

The lady barb was so nice at first to sign us in once the studio had all our money she is a really grumpy lady who treats everyone diffrent. She treats my family and friends like crap like we are a bother to her will just leave us siting at her desk no hi can i help you nothng for atleaste 5-10 minutes. She really gives this studio a bad rep. I like it there but her attitude makes we want to leave. So i might not be returning the next yr. Cons: poor customer service more
