I recently got a tow from this company through GM Motor Club. The driver, Stephen, was very polite and went out of his way to make this a pleasant experience for me. more

Prompt, efficient and Courteous service. I was called and told when to expect the mechanic.by AAA. The mechanic called just before arriving. He competently and professionally diagnosed the problem and corrected it. I am very pleased with the service and the price. Dave's will be my first choice should I ever need a tow or road service again.\r more

Worst customer service experience of my life. Ridiculous prices and bad manners! Please call Lee's 24hour towing instead. more

I contacted the main officer this morning inquiring about the cost to have one of my vehicles towed from 1 location to another. I was quoted a price and the time to expect a call from the tow truck operator. We met to tow my car. The driver arrived, loaded my car on the flat bed and followed me to the destination. The service was great, the operator was professional as well as personable. I would use this service without hesitation. more

It may not be their fault: they may be doing the best they could do... But their best is low on the quality scale, especially for a mother of a young child like myself. If you ever have to use an insurance company for towing, tell the rep to skip over these guys. I waited over three hours for a tow. With a nursing infant... Without heat because my car wouldn't start... In the cold, very windy, very rainy weather... Until after sundown and all the businesses had closed and all the cars had left except three. The company knew all this because my insurance rep was telling them. The three remaining cars in the lot belonged to the last closing business' employees who saw my phone light and asked if I needed help. The guy had mechanical knowledge and got my car running. The lady followed me home to make sure I got home okay. Thank Goodness for kind people in the world! What a nightmare. I put off going out into the inclement weather to find a place to eat because of the constant promises that they would arrive in 15, 20, 30 minutes. They never showed, never called, never answered their phone... I will never use their company again, and will advise everyone I know and meet to avoid them. I suggest you do the same, and at least the people you tell will not be stranded in a distressful situation because of the incompetency of this company. more

Absolutely the WORST DRIVER. Arrived 30 minutes late. Did not call. Did not apologize. CALL SOMEONE WHO CARES ABOUT THE CUSTOMER IF YOU NEED TOWING SERVICE IN THE DURHAM AREA. AAA should fire these guys. more

I had my Tahoe towed due to a transmission problem through OnStar Roadside and the driver, Neil, was excellent! He was very helpful and entertaining at the same time, which was great because I was very upset and his attitude made me feel better. They showed up quicker than they estimated,their price was very reasonable,the driver (Neil,I beleive)was very nice and professional(not to mention CUTE!!!)and the big truck he showed up in was BRAND NEW!!!I sure hope I never need a tow service again,but if I do,rest assured it will be DAVE'S TOW AWAY!!!!
