Love Dr. D'avenas 9/9/2010

I originally went to Dr. D'avenas about 15 years ago when I had a bad experience at Lahey in Burlington. Since then, she has delivered all three of my children. Although I have moved out of state, I still happily drive 90 mins to see her for my annual exams. more

Awesome! 4/15/2009

Dr. D'avenas is wonderful! I had to have major surgery a couple of years ago and she couldn't have been more caring or attentive. She anticipated the possibility the surgery could be more complex than thought and made sure to have another doctor available for consultation and to prepare me for what was in fact the outcome. I would agree that the office staff could be better and it is a shame that they are not a better reflection on this wonderful doctor. more

great doctor - rude reception staff 12/17/2008

Dr. D'AVenas is an excellent doctor,cares about patients. However the office is badly managed - test results get lost and have to be pursued aggressively. The worst are those at reception desk - I have received misinformation before a procedure and have been treated rudely many other times. It compromises my health care and as much as I respect the Doctors in this practice, I am now looking for a new physician because of the office staff. I have NEVER faced this so consistently and often in any practice more

Wonderful doc 12/20/2006

Dr. D'Avenas is a terrific doctor. She's kind, patient-focused, and extremely knowledgeable and competent. She makes you feel comfortable in what could be embarrassing situations, and never rushes patients or belittles their concerns. She's one of the top gynos I've ever had - and I've had many. I'd definitely recommend her to any woman looking for a gynecologist! more
