Terrific little downtown produce store 9/16/2005

Dattilo's has been around for something like 70 years. Well, we love it. It's a great little store to get fruits and veggies. This was the first place I ever brought a pineapple. They helped me, taught me how choose a ripe one and it was so good. Prices are very good- never too high. Great looking produce at very good prices. But go early- they close at 2 on MW and 1 on Sat. more

Fresh produce, cheap! 8/18/2005

Datillo's is a wholesale fruit supplier who also serves the public. They supply all the fruit to the hospital so they have a large selection and things are always fresh. Their weekly specials are always great so watch the paper. They're also family owned so it's nice to support a local family! I think the last time I bought bananas there, they were $.29/lb- best deal in town. more
