Dr. Abramson is a great dentist. He is affable, available and capable. I have had crowns and fillings done that look perfectly natural and his work is always painless. He is very up to date with technology and can do crowns in one visit with a CADCAM system. I endorse this dentists work wholeheartedly. more

Best dentist you could have: I needed some cosmetic work done for my front teeth. Darryl replaced my 4 front crowns with new ones that fit perfectly with a shape and color that look great. He also did veneers on my canine teeth...and now they are more natural looking and shaped how they should look. I am grateful for a person like Darryl who listens, is careful and thorough about everything...especially the finest details. A great man...I wish there were more people like him. more

My husband and 8 year old son were recently visiting my mother-in-law in San Diego. My son had an accident and cracked his tooth. This was on Saturday of a long holiday weekend. My MIL called Dr. Abramson who met them at his office to help my son. He was very gentle with J (who was in a lot of pain) and did a really thorough job. He told them not to worry about billing paperwork, that we could take care of that after they returned home. He even called them later that evening just to check on how J was feeling. He is a truly skilled and caring professional. more

In my experience this is a very bad dentist. He said I needed two crowns. After the temporary crowns were in place I was told that I had to pay $990 for them - half of which would be refunded if I got the permenant crowns from him. I'm very sorry now that I paid this fee on top of the cost of the crowns since it wasn't revealed to me in advance - I would have left if it was. It took 4 weeks to get the permenant crowns which were very expensive. I also wasn't told in advance how long it takes him to get the crowns. I thought 2 weeks was standard. They turned out to be much shorter than the original teeth. They didn't touch the opposing teeth at all. I have diagnostic models from a 2nd dentist to prove this. I started getting earaches whenever I ate anything. He said he was sorry and that's the best work he can do. He said he could ""widen the arch"" of my smile if I'd like (?) but not put two back teeth into occlussion. I had the 2 crowns replaced 4 months later - the dentist that replaced them said I could have gotten better crowns at a dental school. Cons: Poor work more
