The atmosphere is great. My boyfriend took me here on our first date and I keep coming back. It's kind of like a dungeon but it is so relaxed. It's kind of a maze, a castle, and trippy willy wonka factory all in one. No place like it. The burgers are awesome. The menu is straightforward and honest. Great place to hang out. Very comfortable. more

Great place to just hang out! 8/15/2002

The Dark Horse is an awesome bar to just hang out and have a drink. The prices are the best I've seen in Boulder and the food rocks. I stopped in a few weeks ago some guy named ""Smooth Tone"" touched me in the pants region. Great specials and it seems like there is something different going on every night. more

Great Burgers! 7/27/2002

Dark Horse has the best burger in Boulder if you ask me! Cheap and oh so yummy! There's all sorts of crazy eclectic crap hanging all over that place to check out while you're waiting! more
