Dan's is a small supermarket in which mostly high school students work. The whole shopping center is overrun with teenagers (especially during lunch time during the school year!)...

Local Supermarket 3/31/2006

Dan’s used to be good when I was younger. They used to have samples of products every week and have competitive prices. Now they changed Dan’s to Key Food. Now the prices are less competitive and no samples are given out. It’s a good place to go if you live in the area and need groceries quickly. There are usually no lines there. This is the only place that plastic wraps all of their vegetables. I guess that’s good since the vegetables should stay fresher in the plastic and you don’t have to worry about getting your hands dirty. more

Hard to find a good deal 8/25/2005

Dan's is a small supermarket in which mostly high school students work. The whole shopping center is overrun with teenagers (especially during lunch time during the school year!), so this can be a bit annoying. Sales are few and tough to come by. The employees aren't very helpful at all. I'd recommend trying a chain store first, you'll get a much better deal. more
