Great work, great price, great communication 6/15/2013

Dan just finished putting a pergola on our deck and staining the deck and pergola. Prior to that he put an egress window in our basement and retiled our basement. I feel very fortunate to have found dan via a google search. I've bid out several of the above jobs (inviting 3 other companies to bid in some cases--as a matter of process I always do this) and Dan's prices are always the most competitive every time. Dan knows his stuff and will come over, look at the job I'm requesting, and often give me an exact quote right there on the spot. Other companies take a week just to get you a quote. Dan quotes it right there. He's always stuck to his word and contract. He and his team respond quickly to texts and emails. more

Dan's service did a beautiful job remodeling the bathroom. Always prompt, helpful suggestions, neat, friendly and certainly were very experienced. Also helped with some other repairs around the house. very professional. I have a beautiful updated bath. I have already asked for his services for another re-do. Really impressed. g more

I was very pleased with everything Dan has done in my house, and he's done a lot. He is always complete with all of his work. Most recently, he put on a door in a bedroom and put new cabinetry in all three of my bathrooms. more

Neat and efficient 11/5/2012

Dan's Handyman Services replaced a folding stair to my attic. Dan actually picked a product that was better than what was originally there. He did an excellent job and I would definitely use him again. more

Very polite and friendly. 10/9/2012

They're excellent. Dan's Handyman Services showed up on time, knew what they were doing, and explained it carefully. It was a problem we didn't quite know how to solve, and they worked at it and got it done. Anyway, I am just very pleased. They were very polite and friendly. It was a good experience. more

did bad job and won't fix 9/22/2012

I bought a livingsocial deal from him. He did drywall in my home and it looks really bad. I have called him a few times and the first time he answered his phone and said he'd come and fix it but never heard back from him. Called him 2 more times and left him a VM and he hasn't returned my call. Also he tacked on extra fees probably to make up for the living social deal. RESPONSE FROM Dan's Handyman Services - Handyman: She did buy a Living Social. she is outside of our 10 mile service area specified clearly on the LS coupon. Her coupon value was $164 that she paid $69 for. she had a full 8 hour day of work which she happily paid for and we deducted 164 from her total bill. All was fine when we left and she signed the job ticket to that effect. She called a month later to say she wasn't happy as there were a few lines in the patching. We told her we would be out again when we were in the area which is over 30 miles away. more

I am happy with the work Dan has done for me 3/14/2012

I have used Dan's Handyman Services multiple times. I am happy with Dan's service. He and a helper painted my shed. He has fixed my attic fan. He has also painted my window frames. I am happy with his work. I'll be calling him back when I need him. more

Dan has become our our Family's Go to Guy 3/11/2012

I am disabled and my husband is often deployed with the Army. Dan has taken charge of so many projects around our house, always with excellent results. He designed and installed a wall-mounted toilet that accommodated my wheelchair. He has also worked on our garage door, repaired fencing and built a platform for an outbuilding. He even won over my mother who can is very exacting and is now his biggest fan. more

We refurbished the whole bottom floor of our house. Dan's Handyman Services did a lot of good things for us. I was very pleased with the results of Dan's work. We had Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner at our house and we got all sorts of comments about how nice the work was. A major part of the bookcase was taken out to make room for a large flat screen TV. Everybody loved that. It really changed the whole complexion of the room. Gordon James more

Conscientious and flexible. 9/26/2011

I had Dan from Dan's Handyman Services build a deck for me. I thought it went very well. Dan is very conscientious. He followed the plan I had laid out and made suggestions and improved on the plans. Dan was very flexible with working with my ideas. I'd definitely use him again in the future. more

Very competent, knowledgeable, and reasonable! 9/23/2011

I met Dan from Dan's Handyman Services at a parking lot and asked him to do an estimate on doing a deck. After he was done with shopping, he gave me an estimate. He did a great job. This was the one and only time I used Dan's Handyman Services. Before I hired him, I called people who had used them, and they all highly recommended Dan's Handyman Services, as I do. For the next project, I will be calling Dan's Handyman Services! more

couldn't be happier 9/23/2011

We had a door hung, a doorway widened, skylights put in, and cabinet hung. Plus a few other things. Done in one day less than expected, looks great, and left NO mess. Top notch work! more

My Handyman Hero! 2/15/2011

Dan did a great job on all the hanging of items I had and the electrical work in the bathroom. I'll use Dan again in a heart beat and will recommend him whenever I hear of someone in need. I'm saving up some more projects for him as I speak! more
