I was at a Fundraiser at a local condo complex and they came by at 12:01 and started towing cars parked completely out of the way on a street. We were apparently allowed to part there until midnight, no later, and lo and behold at 12:01 they started towing cars. Not only is this practice disgusting to me, even worse was when a buddy of mine saw the guy drive by, ran over to my car to stop him, and he STILL purposely dropped the tow. He lifted it literally as my buddy was on my bumper. Talk about sleezy. Not only that, but it was demanded that I pay the $150 to drop the car right there or he'd have towed it the entire way to the lot.
I have never had someone be belligerent and as bitter as this guy was. If I'm in a spot I'm not supposed to be, fine, but when you see me coming out to move it, and purposely pretend not to see my friend sitting on the bumper, that's just slimy.
To make my point further, the driver actually had the balls to pretend he was doing us a favor because ""His boss wanted him to grab a flat bed, grab as many cars as they could and drop them in a vacant lot less than a mile away before towing them all up to Manchester"". Are you kidding me?!?!
These guys are the height of unprofessionalism. I will be looking at all recourse against them and the condo association, including the Better Business Bureau. They sure better hope there's no damage to my car....
