When I moved from Chicago, I was scared to find a new extensionist. I had gotten 3 sets that looked good but kept falling out - I figured it was just my hair, but Danita put in a set of Hairdreams that look GREAT, feel much better, and best of all - they're staying in!!! She figured out what the problem was and fixed it, took my old extensions out, colored my hair, and put the new ones in all in one day. And for a better price than I was paying before. Danita is great, highly recommended! Plus, as another review said, she is funny and sweet and down to earth, which makes the 7 hours in the chair go by a lot faster! more

I have gone to Danita for several months and have most often been able to have her do my hair, whether it be a color and/or a cut. She listens to me when I describe what services I am needing, and then gives great suggestions. And I have always been pleased with the results. I have recommended her to several of my friends. She is wonderful to just have a chat with and I am happy to have found my new hair home. more

As an "insider" into the hair salon industry, I'm a strong believer that you get what you pay for. Why would a top-notch stylist work in a cheap salon? They wouldn't. I've been to countless salons in Florida and I'm usually unimpressed. They can't seem to get the "Jersey" out of the NJ-trained stylists. Bad frosted hair and thick bangs are apparently still trendy to some. I have awful, frizzy, thin, Dry, damaged, over treated hair. I was dying my hair blond to hide the grays and wanted to go to my more natural warm brown color. I made an appointment with Danita and I AM THRILLED with what she did!!! You should see me today - a rich dark brunette with silky, shiny hair!!! She did my style and she is AMAZING!! After thirty something years I FINALLY have pretty hair. I will be back to see Danita for Keratin and extensions!! more

I recently got my extensions by Danita, and I have to say this is the best job I have ever had. After reading the negative review I have to say I completely disagree. The space she has is very nice and personable. When I go into salons I don't like when people look at my natural hair because it's very short. Here it's a private space where no one has to see my real hair. I felt very comfortable talking to Danita about my problem areas with my hair and she was able to give me great advice on how to improve the health of my natural hair. Unlike other salons they don’t just slap on any type of extension and send you out the door, she sits down and does a consultation in order to find out what type of extension’s would be best for your hair health wise. I've been in salons where they would just recommend the highest price extensions just so they can make money but that’s not what she does. I absolutely love my extensions and if you are looking for a place to get your extensions done go here! more

I was referred to Danita by a friend and I will never go anywhere else! I recently had my hair cut and colored by her and I can't believe how great my experience was! My friend was so right about how fabulous she is! I have super straight, pretty lifeless hair and when I left I felt like I was brand new! She not only listened to my needs and concerns, but gave me great recommendations on what she felt would flatter my skin tone and face shape! Not to mention, gave me instructions on how to use the products and tools necessary to achieve the same style at home! I am so pleased with the outcome of my service that I will definitely be returning and telling all of my girlfriends where I went! I was wanting to try a different place since my stylist left town. I researched this place and read the wonderful reviews on the site, and decided to schedule an appointment. This was the best decision I have made for my hair. Danita knew exactly what she was doing and she was very precise. She told me what she suggested and asked if I had any questions. My hair color turned out amazing. She matched up swatches of color to my skin tone. Without a doubt I got the best haircut that I've ever had in my life! In addition, she took the time to talk to me beforehand about what I wanted. Although it's been a couple of weeks, I still cannot believe how fantastic she has made my hair look. I always knew the importance of a good cut, but my hair is doing things it's never done before just because of Danita's great handiwork! I highly recommend her. I know I will be returning!! more

I have gone everywhere to get my color done. I guess you could say I am never happy, well there is a first time for everything............I saw a woman on the beach and admired her color so I asked her who did it and she told me Danita from White The Art of Hair. She told me she has been going there a long time and that she is the most talented stylist she has ever met. Anyway, I called and made an appointment and went into see her. I was still a little apprehensive until I met her and she listened and made some suggestions. I have never been happier with my color in my life. . Well I struck gold! First, Amazing color and then a dynamite haircut. Highly recommended! more

Please save yourself the trouble and find a different salon for extensions! I have always worn clip in extensions and finally decided to make the commitment and get real ones. I ended up spending over 2100 and didn't receive any satisfaction. Not to mention I made a down payment at my consultation then paid the rest before they were even installed. She was probably scared I wouldn't pay her since I HATED them! First off I was told I was getting great lengths hair extensions. Now that I'm getting AMAZING extensions by someone else, we realized that they were not. I was lied to. My bonds were clear, so once they started growing out a month later, you could see them. If they are true great lengths extensions, then the bond will be the color of the extension. On top of that I was never able to wear my hair down because of the way they were placed. I had very few extensions placed on my sides, just a ton in the back. And very low, I had absolutely none in the middle of my head. I came out looking like Joe Dirt. I would have rather stuck with my clip ins. At least I could wear my hair down. But thank god for Cossu Salon. She took them out and put true great lengths in. I now have a full head of extensions and look fabulous! I ended up spending 600 dollars less to get alot more of better quality extensions. Please don't get sucked into all the glamour of this salon or you'll leave dissapointed. I should have done better research. more

Danita did my hair yesterday - she was exceptionally professional and made me feel like I was her only client during my appt - she listened to my concerns and showed me exactly what would work best for my hair Unlike other salons she told me what worked best for my fine hair - and wasn't trying to promise a cut and color that wouldn't work for my hair type. I also finally got the color that I had wanted - it looks beautiful and natural - and I can easily maintain it - great salon, exceptional service - and I am brand new to the area!! Looking forward to my next appointment more

Recently moved from California and my coworker who works at the Palm Beach office recommended Danita for highlights I couldn't be happier. Saw her last week; I was a little afraid to try someone new being I have been seeing the same colorist for 10 years. After meeting with her and showing her some pictures she gave me exactly what I was asking for. She makes you feel comfortable instantly. My hair was a disaster and she fixed it almost effortlessly. She made it seem so easy. She also recommended a great Kerastase treatment and shampoo/conditioner! I just can’t get over how great of a job she did and I needed to write something! After several years of searching for a talented colorist I went to see Danita. She listened to my desires & budget concerns (dang economy!) and delivered results that exceeded my expectations. I did some research and finally came across White The Art of Hair. I made my appointment with the owner Danita (Master stylist). From the moment I walked in, I felt very welcome. She is very friendly, fun to talk to and most important is that she is very talented, passionate about her work, professional hair stylist! She did cut my hair amazingly beautiful, I felt super gorgeous already in the middle of my haircut. I finally have the fun platinum blonde look I've been trying to achieve for years. Danita *knows* color! My haircut was exactly what I'd hoped for, too. Throughout the entire process, I was kept informed and consulted, so the only surprise was how amazing it all turned out. After searching for years for an excellent and talented stylist, I finally found her. I am super happy with my haircut and style and I think it is the best haircut of my life. Very experienced, creative hair artist. European hair salon atmosphere. Top of the line hair products are used. On spot education! She will teach you how to style your hair! Attention to details such as your hair type, eye color, your personality, and preferences. My hair looks totally natural and wonderful for weeks after a visit. It is always a pleasure to go in, read great magazines, and be pampered. It is a wonderful feeling to have a person that knowledgeable doing your hair color and or highlights. She is absolute tops in the field. The service is individual and accommodating. I was going in for serious surgery and she even gave me touch up materials that I could use myself and offered to come over if necessary (I live close by). I will never forget that kindness. I am so glad I found Danita! I recently moved to Jupiter and was dreading finding a new stylist that I could trust. I read all the great reviews and decided to make an appointment. She was wonderful! She made sure that she understood exactly what I wanted and didn't force any of her ideas on me. She was very friendly, and after about 5-10 minutes into the consultation, I trusted her. She was very precise with the color and cut and she offered lots of options for what we could do with my style. I loved that she asked what tools I used to fix my hair and then gave me a cut that would look great with those tools. She was very friendly and relaxed. I was very nervous looking for a new stylist and color specialist, but Danita came highly recommended. It was reassuring to know that Elle Magazine ranked her one of the top 100 hair salons in the country in the August 2011 issue. She listened very carefully to what I wanted and the results are over the top. I've never had a better cut and color... EVER! The salon is beautiful, a nice mellow atmosphere, tastefully done. second, the receptionist is super friendly, somewhat rare these days in my experience. EVERYONE in the salon is super friendly, it wasn't intimidating at all, sometimes salons can be too trendy for their own good. third, when it comes to color. i went in with salt & pepper, shoulder length hair, some black low-lights in it, a real mess. i left with a super cute, BLONDE 'do. my hair is stunning, i didn't think it was possible. whoo-hoo! i will be a loyal client for as long as i'm in Indianapolis! more
