I have been searching for a new stylist for 5 years since mine left for Vegas. I have been all over and left unhappy many times. I saw a woman out one night and I liked her hair so I asked where she got it done and she told me Rachel at Daniel Shay's. Well, I decided to try it out and I'm glad I did because I now have a new stylist. They were great on the phone and when you walk in they offer you a soda or bottled water. The sinks they wash your hair in can be raised or lowered to fit your height, just like the chair. This was great. The products they used smell really good. I saw Rachel E. this is important because apparently there are two Rachel's. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and to modify the cut for my face, personality and preferences. She also took the time to let me know how to style my hair and what products I should use on my hair to achieve the same look she gave me in the salon. My sister has also seen Rachel and was very happy with her experience as well. My mother went and Rachel was not available so she used someone else that was very nice, but did not listen to what she wanted and gave her the same bad haircut she already had, but my mother is going back to someone else and trying there wonderful hair improvement techniques from too much color. And then she will be using them to color her hair also, which all of there colors are imported from Italy. They have a color bar, which you can sit at and watch them mix your color and everything. It's a very nice, clean salon and they are all very friendly. I will definately be going back.
Pros: Great service, friendly, affordable, clean
Cons: Rachel books up fast
