We have been to Daniel's Broiler several times. The food has been great each time. Good happy hour too.http://www.judysbook.com/login?

Great steak 11/24/2006

Daniel's Broiler is an excellent restaurant. Their steak is always cooked just right. I have never had a bad dining experience here. It is expensive, but the food and the great customer service are wonderful. Additionally, the view is beautiful. It's definately one of the best restaurants in Bellevue. Pros: Great steaks, good service, beautiful view Cons: expensive more

Incredible steaks 11/3/2006

This a great special occasion restaurant! Their menu/specials are always good and the food is incredible. They have a very good wine list, too. They're not cheap, but it's worth it. If you go during the holidays, try to get a window seat - the lights below add a romantic touch! more

Best date night, girls night out, singing at the bar location 10/28/2006

I always have a great time at Daniel's broiler. Not only do they have amazing food, but they have maintained a wonderful atmosphere for many years. Go to the bar if you want some interactive fun - Jim (the pianist/singer) is incredible and plays what you want to hear. You're assured to have a great time. Cons: Not a great place for kids more

Best steak and view 9/19/2006

I never been to Daniel's Briolier till I took my boyfriend there for his 21st b-day and we both fell in love with the place. The steaks were perfect and we were seated near the window where it was so romantic. We gone again for happy hours and the place contiuned to pleased us that we would go occasionally when we feel like going all out. Pros: View, steak more

Great meat, great service 4/1/2006

My wife and I celebrated an event at Daniel's this week. We were seated promptly next to a window with a beautiful view. Our waitress showed up quickly and was very attentive throughout the meal. A table of business-nerds next to us distracted us a bit, as they were having some self-important meeting. But ignoring them, the steaks came out fairly quickly and very well done. I had a filet and my wife had the New York. We also had a couple of sauces and the creamed spinach. The spinach is magnificient! Our bill was a bit high for no alcohol, but you get what you pay for. Overall a great experience. We'll go back again. more

Realistic 3/24/2006

My husband and I have dinner at Daniels for our anniversary every year. We have never been disappointed. Service is excellent - with regards to comments of slow - that may be correct but do I want my $250 anniversary dinner to go by quickly? - not at all so slow works for me. We go for the romance, service, and fabulous food. View, and noise level are not factors for us. If you want steaks one notch lower than Daniels but at 1/2 the total bill, you MUST hit Jak's in Issaquah. DO NOT let the wait deter you - it is worth the wait - very intimate, dark, romantic and affordable. Pros: quality of food, service, romantic Cons: prices more

my favorite get away from home 2/19/2006

I visit bellevue often, usually stay at the hyatt, had a friend take me to daniels for drinks and dinner, been going there ever since, look forward to the meal, steaks are awsome love the calamari, kevin will also whip up some awsome snacks or light meals in the oyster bar, and the piano man awsome Jim washburn is awsome he always makes me feel at home when i'm there, thats why i go there every time i'm in bellevue, the service is good, a little slow when its busy in the bar , but the staff works hard on making every one happy..... Pros: good entertainment, parking is good Cons: bar crowded at times more

OK steaks 1/8/2006

I did much research and planning for this visit. Was pleasantly greeted and seated at a window table with a view of Seattle skyline. The service was good if a little slow. It was rather loud during our meal but tolerable. As for the steaks, Mom had a filet mignon that was requested rare and was so charred it was all she could taste. They were quick to offer a replacement for her. My ribeye was done properly and tasted alright. But for the price, I've definitely had way better flavored steaks. Pros: view, service Cons: noisy, price, average steak more

Exceptional Daniels! 11/13/2005

I went to Daniels to celebrate my new recruiting business. The entire visit was something to behold- the staff exceeded my expectations. The restaraunt charisma, charm. The staff works like a well oiled machine! We ate in the lounge on a spur of the moment visit Saturday night. Service was just as good as the main dining area. I'm a self styled wine snob, but Daniels had me covered! i chose a luscious APEX cab that was well worth it to compliment the steak I ordered. And it is never a bad night when you finish dinner,go to the cigar room ,equally well appointed and elegant. The view is breathtaking, food more than pleasing.Whether its a microbrew, liquer or dinner ,Daniels can provide you with all you could possibly want. I was impressed! If Daniels keeps to their word ,this is going to remain THE place to go for a long time to come. Pamela Kornish Pros: Extensive wine list, Quality service, Excellent view Cons: soup&salads extra more

I LOVE this place! 7/29/2005

I'm from the east coast so I'm unfortunately not used to such a nice place with amazing people- but this restaurant has me thinking about moving to the west- honestly! It's amazing, and the piano man is finominal(sp. ?). I would recomend this restaurant to anyone. Pros: romantic, great view, good music more

Go to Seattle for Best Experience 7/14/2005

I have eaten at Daniel's in Seattle many times and I've never been disappointed. Bellevue, however, leaves much to be desired. The prime was actually bad! A few things were good but nothing was exceptional - certainly not for the price. I would not recommend this location. Pros: Acceptable Service Cons: Bad prime, Medocre service more

Best Steak I had so far... 4/9/2005

I just celebrated my birthday there and I heard a lot about their infamous prime rib. I would have gotten it before from other visits, however they keep on selling out of the prime rib since it is so popular. I finally get there when the prime rib wasn't sold out and I see why it is so hard to get this...the prime rib was THE BEST I ever had. Their steaks are seasoned well and very tasty. I highly recommend Daniels, it is the best steak I have had yet! Remember to go early if you want to get the prime rib. Pros: Excellent Parking, Really good steaks, Ambiance Cons: Prime Rib sells out more

My absolute favorite. 9/14/2004

Forget the others--this place has my favorite steak ever. Let me get this straight up-front--the only resturaunt I have been to that compares to Daniel's for an amazing meat experiance is Bobby Flay's resturaunt in NYC (Mesa Grill). Do not mess around when you go to Daniel's--get the Filet Mignon with the Oscar sauce (note: Oscar is not listed on the menu, but ask the server). The yukon gold mashed potatos are my favorite side. I recommend starting with the St. Henri Penfold's Shiraz with appetizers (the Calamari is excellent) and then a bottle of the Rombauer Zinfindel with the steaks. Your tastebuds will thank you! There is also an excellent selection of desert wines and deserts. I love the Bellevue location for the view of Lake Wa. and downtown Bellevue, but the Lake Union location is just as tasty. Pros: excellent food, excellent wine, excellent service more

Daniel's rocks! 6/12/2004

I have met at Daniel's in Bellevue several times with friends and business colleagues. It is an awesome place to kick back and enjoy. The service is good and the atmosphere is great. I enjoy sitting by the piano bar and enjoying the scenery. Pros: Exciting, Good food, Good service more

Outstanding 6/24/2003

Great view. Food was wonderful and our waiter was very helpful. Will definately be going back Pros: View, Food, Easy Parking Cons: N/A more

Valentine's Day Date 2/15/2003

This place was fantastic for my Valentine's Date. I was a bit skeptical at first because of how noisy it was but we were seated in a nice quiet corner. Not only was it romantic, but it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. I'd highly recommend this place, but watch the price, it's pretty spendy. Pros: Romantic, Good Times, Valet Parking Cons: Expensive, Expensive more

5 star service!! 2/12/2003

I must say that we had the BEST service - even though the steaks weren't as good as we expected. Great atmosphere, nice view, and yummy seafood dishes did make up for the steaks though. I'd still recommend the Met if you want the best piece of steak in town. Overall, we enjoyed the evening & would definitely visit again! more

I am coming back! 1/22/2003

In a place like this you cant go wrong. You make a reservation the waiter knows your name. So you could say its a place where everyone knows your name. That does not substitute for slacking in other areas through out the night such as filling water glasses, coke glasses or ice tea glasses. You can expect great tasting food but the meal comes with your choice of potatoe or pasta so plan on forking over extra bucks for any soups or salads you plan on having during the night. Over its a great restaurant to take a date or business dinner. Oysters arent bad for an appetizer but the filet is an absolute must steak here. Pros: Parking, Great views if lucky, Steaks are the best Cons: Loud, Sometimes Crowded, Can get Spendy more
