Great first experience 5/14/2012

Two words - Jacqui Veta 4/11/2011

Go see mrs Jacqui, she is sure to rock your socks off with her expertise. She has been doing my hair for years and has never given me something I didn't like. And trust me, my hair has been cut and dyed every which way you can think of. She is very talented and no one can do colour like her. She is wonderful and will make you walk out of the salon feeling like a foxy biatch. more

Mucio Vidales 2/12/2011

I rarely to these reviews but I have to tell you that Mucio is the amazing Hair Artist. I have traveled all over the country and Europe and bragged about my Hair Stylist. I refuse to go to anyone else anymore - even if it means driving 3 - 6 hours for an amazing makeover after Mucio is done with me. The latest magic he has used is the Brazilian Blowout - which is an unbelievable low maintenance hair look. So Shiny and healthy looking, great hair color too. He recommends just the right hair product and will only sell you what you need. I highly recommend this magic hair designer for you! more

Lauren is the absolute best!! She is extremely talented and I wouldn't trust anyone else to touch my hair. I am so glad that I found her. Her coloring and cutting skills have changed my life. Not only does she do my hair, but also my son's, my mother's and I have referred countless friends and colleagues to her. Everyone has rave reviews. more

l usually don't do these reviews, but feel compelled to share with everyone what an ""artist"" Mucio is. He literally can do magic with your hair. I am hard to please and am always happy with his work and always get compliments on my hair for color, cut and most recently brazilian blow out, which is awesome! Thank you Mucio! more

Mucio Vidales 2/10/2011

My family and I have followed Mucio from his past 4 salons over the past 9 years. He has so much talent and love for what he does. I am very conservative and scared when it comes to new trends in hairstyles, but I trust his opinion completely and he is never wrong. Between my sister, mother and I, we all have extremely different hair types, yet he handles each of us uniquely and with ease! The salon is amazing and we are lucky they have Mucio. Definitely give it a try! more

Lauren is the ultimate stylist! 2/7/2011

Lauren is the best! Literally! I am from the East Coast and found her a few years ago through an online review. I have since followed her to DMS and she is the ONLY one who cuts my hair (despite that 6hr flight across the country). Some are true artists in their chosen discipline and she is one of those people. Her styling is amazing. I can bring her a picture of any hair cut or color and she always does something beautiful that works with my skin/bone structure. I cannot say enough good things about her! more

I moved to Southern California in the fall of 2008 and my first worry was how in the world will I ever find a stylist that I trust and adore as much as my stylist from back home? After my first cut with Lauren I was sold. She is the most professional, friendly and skilled stylist I have ever had the luck to meet and I always leave the salon feeling 100% satisfied. She is great about showing you different ways and options to style your hair (if you're in to variety, like I am) and has great suggestions. I would recommend Lauren to anyone--her talents are endless. She simply is the best at what she does and never dissapoints!!!\r \r more

Super Salon 2/2/2011

I walked into Daniel Michael Salon and immediately felt welcome. Everyone there is friendly and professional. I really like Lauren. She does a fabulous job with my short hair. Whenever I see her, she has been thinking of how to tweak my hair to look a bit different. I LOVE that!!! She is great with color also. All I have to do is tell her what I would like and she whips up the exact color magically. Great Place! Great Stylist! more

Just got my first Brazilian Keratin treatment and my hair is super shiny and feels amazing!! Where I get my Super Model Hair Cuts... 2/11/2010

Co-owner, Regina, has been making my mother's hair perfect for longer than I have been alive, so it was an easy choice when I needed to get my first real hair cut. Now, she has been making my hair perfect for 14 years. Regina is so good at her job that even straight men compliment my highlights and hair cuts. Mucio Vidales 12/8/2009

I have followed Mucio from his old salon to the Daniel Michael Salon in which he currently works. I trust him with my hair and he never disappoints me. I work at a restaurant so I have to maintain a clean, natural appearance. Mucio allows me to obtain this appearance while still adding something new to my hair every time I go in there. I have a very round face and it is extremely hard to flatter, but I always receive so many compliments on my cut and color after I go to Mucio. I recently decided to go completely different and get bangs. These do not always work on people with my face shape, but Mucio knew exactly how to cut them so that they would flatter my face. I have had multiple people come up to me and tell me that they were too scared to get bangs but they are going to try it now that they have seen how flattering it is on me. I would 100% recommend Mucio Vidales to anyone of any age. He knows exactly what he is doing and he takes a lot of pride in his work! more

Mucio is AMAZING!!! 9/30/2009

Mucio Vidales is AMAZING!!! I have been getting my haircut and styled by Mucio for about 6 years now and will continue to do so forever!! After being recommended by a friend I had Mucio do a basic cut and I have never had so many compliments on my haircut! Sadly I moved to San Diego but would make the 1hour drive up to see Mucio so that he could cut and style my hair. Every haircut was fantastic, I had to carry business cards of his with me because so many random people would stop me and ask me where I got my haircut. For one bold haircut I decided to go purple in my bangs and Mucio was able to make me look hip and sophisticated! He is amazing with cut, style, and color! For my wedding last year Mucio did my hair and people are still talking about it! Currently my mom (who also lives about 1 hr away) has begun driving up to see him, I think that is a true testament to how wonderful he is at what he does. Pros: Amazing cut, style and color more

Mucio Vidales is an OUTSTANDING hair stylist/artist. I have been going to Mucio for about 5 years now, and found him at Christopher Perry Salon. From there I followed him to Vogue Salon at the St. Regis Hotel, and am still a client as he moved to Daniel Michael Salon. I love everything he has done. My hair went from my natural brown, curly flat style to blonde by adding multiple shades of blondes which did not damage my hair at all. I was blonde for about 4 years, and now just recently went back brunette, which also did not damage my hair. He layers my hair and styles it to what is ""in."" I have let Mucio do whatever he likes to my hair, and nothing has ever gone wrong; it is perfect every time, never crazy or disproportionate, and is slightly different which I love. My step-dad and mom go to Mucio, and now my best friend goes to him. Mucio has also done my hair for my High School dances; Prom, Winter Formal, and Homecoming, and every style turns out amazing! Exceeding Expectations 9/10/2009

I have been going to one of the haircutters for over 25 years and have always walked out with a ""current"" awesome ""do"" However, it is the experience with my 4.5yr old grandson that brings me to writing this review.\r His heritage is Greek and African American. The curliest cutest hair ever, but also everywhere.\r What can I say.
