I took my car to Daniels Brothers to address a check engine light issue. They insisted that I would need to leave the car with them all day for them to get a chance to read the error code. They called me in the afternoon and told me that I needed a new coil pack but wouldn't answer questions about it. Furthermore, they demanded I decide if I wanted to replace it (at a cost of over three times that of other area mechanics) within 20 minutes or they wouldn't work on it until the following week. Perhaps these guys are okay for oil changes but I certainly wouldn't trust them to do anything more complex. more

Great service 4/2/2010

O.K. Service 7/18/2007

I took my car to Daniel Brothers for service twice. Both times they got the job done quickly but didn't explain the problems or options that I had. Since my car still had problems, I took it to another mechanic. The second shop (Forest Hills Service Center) explained things thoroughly and immediately figured out what was wrong with my car. I'm not sure if I would recommend Daniel Brothers because the service was fine, but they didn't go out of their way to really figure out what was going on with my car. Pros: conveniently located, fast Cons: not very friendly, still had car trouble more
