I had been going to a pricier salon in Lexington, and my mom convinced me to go here when I decided to cut my waist-length hair. Thank God I did. It was a HUGE change, and thanks to Elissa it came out beautiful. The stylists I've gone to here (Dani and Elissa) are incredible. I've tried a lot of different salons, but this is by far the best. :) more

Dani de Paris has some of the most innovative stylist I have experienced in a long time. I used to go onto Newbury Street, never again! Dani has created a beautiful upscale environment along with cutting edge stylists. I highly recommend this salon Pros: experienced stylists more

For many years I used to drive from Andover to Newbury St, Boston to have my hair done by one of the continual winners of ""Best in Boston"". The hours it took just became toooo much for my shcedule. Pros: Convenient, Wonderful atmosphere, Perfect!!!! more

Dani has been styling my hair for 20+ years. People constantly ask where I get my hair done, and I am very happy to send them to Dani's. It's gotten so that I have to carry a pack of her business cards with me where ever I go. Dani and her staff are very professional and friendly. Today I brought in a picture of a new style I wanted to try - a rather drastic change - very short. It came out looking EXACTLY like the picture - I am thrilled. I give her salon the highest rating. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Pros: Skill, service, staff are all excellent Cons: Really can't think of any! more

I went there some year ago and I am still tramautized! Dani is terrible. Just because you are French does not mean y ou can or know how to cut hair. She hacked my hair and cut it all off!! I went in with long hair and came out with manly short hair--I am not kidding. I brought in a photo, but she just ignored it and kept cutting and cutting. After, I was in tears and she tried to tell me that my short hair somehow looked like the photos of the woman with long hair! I think that she is a terrbile hair stylist and I would say...STAY AWAY! I liked to go back in there just to tell her that she is the worst stylist on the face of the Earth!! If she was so wonderful, she wouldn't be in a strip mall... Cons: They do NOT listen to their clients. Stay away from the owner!! more
