As much as we enjoyed dining at this Lake Oswego restaurant, we don't like their shady tactics. To attract patrons to their establishment, in 2009, the Dang's Thai Kitchen owner signed up w/ the website restaurant:com which offers dining certificates at a discounted price, good for 1 year. Shortly thereafter, following publication of the 2009 Diner ""Suburban Standout of the Year"" article, Dang's posted signs on their doors exhibiting their refusal to honor any of the certificates previously purchased, effective 6/13. These certificates, each with an expiration date, were paid for and thus are a ""contract,"" and so should, by law, be honored. Restaurant:com has indicated that their certificates may become void if an establishment closes or moves or is sold, but Dang's chose to shun their responsibility to both restaurant:com, as well as to those who supported their restaurant, to accept the certificates through their expiration dates - all in the name of greed. We know many people who experienced the same shut-out. In our book, the restaurant definitely is no longer a suburban standout.
Cons: Poor management
