Dandy Cruise Ship

Three months of planning a wedding reception was not easy especially if the Bride lives in WA, DC and Mother lives in Seattle, WA. From the first telephone inquiry to many more in between, we were treated as a Queen and Princess. Scherrie and all the Dandy staff went above and beyond to make my daughter's wedding very special every guest will remember. Although the boat does not look fancy from the outside, it is in the hearts of every staff member that make this cruise dinner exceptional! Scherrie helped us coordinate the planning. Andrea answered all email inquiries. The Captain was very courteous to remind us that we are responsible for the safety of one handicap guest. Victor even gave us a break in the final bill at the end of the event, so we ended up giving 100% tip. Even now, after a week, guests still keep raving about how perfect a wedding it was, not to mention the best prime rib and salmon ever East Coast could offer! The cruise ship Dandy is a great place to go for dinner or have/attend a party. The food they serve is quite good, and it's a lot of fun to hang out on the top deck and take in all of the DC sights. After dinner, they offer dancing and dessert. The prices are reasonable. It's definitely worth it to do this at least once. And, if you're visiting the DC-area, it's doubly worth it! more

The Dandy Cruise Ship is the perfect outing for a nice fancy date or anniversary. It is conveniently located in Old Town Alexandria, and features dinner and dancing. The waterfront area is gorgeous and you have incredible views of the DC monuments from the ship. The price is reasonable, especially for weekdays, and there are often discounts available as well. more
