Worst

Very disappointed in the ""skills"" (if I can even call them that) my girls learned. Door was locked repeatedly, communication was horrible.

WE LOVE IT!! Our family has been at Dance-N-Groove for over four years and we have two girls taking classes there. The experience has always been positive and not a single issue. Ms. Kirstin is amazing with the girls and puts on a great year end show! Both of my girls love Ms. Kirstin and enjoy dancing so much. Ms. Kirstin is great at communicating with the parents with monthly newsletters and information packets throughout the year. I cannot say enough great things about Ms. Kirstin and the studio. We feel very lucky to have her as our daughters' dance instructor. more

Wonderful experience!!!! My daughter has been with Ms Kirstin for 4 years and absolutely LOVES her, as do I!! My daughter now takes hip hop/jazz and continues to take ballet/tap, and she loves all of the classes. Ms Kirstin is very patient and caring to all of the girls and I feel like this is a second home!! I would highly recommend Dance-N-Groove to anyone! I have read some of the previous responses and want to say that parents are allowed to observe classes twice a year. The classes are closed to parents as children tend to learn better and pay attention to the instructor if the parents are not sitting and watching. I applaud Ms Kirstin on what a fine job she is doing and how much Dance-N-Groove has grown in just the 4 years that we've been with her. Keep up the great work!! :) more

Terrible Experience! Wouldn't recommend to anyone! 11/18/2011

The owner locks out the parents, so you can't view what is going on during class. I am very uncomfortable with that, escpecially since my daughter is 2 1/2 and can't communicate what is going on behind closed doors. We also completed a fundraiser and attached to the fundraiser packet was a bright orange flier that went home saying the proceeds would go to our children's end of year dance costume. Once I spent $250 on a fundraiser order, the dance instructor told our class, that they won't be performing in the end of year show. It's very sad that family members purchased items from the fundraiser, thinking that they would be able to watch their grandchild/child perform. ---I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. more

Great dance experience!!! 7/14/2010

Dance-n-groove has been a great experience for my daughter over the past 5 years. She has become such a confident dancer from the great instruction that the teacher has given her. She has a great time every week at class and she looks forward to learning more as the years go on. Pros: Great instruction & fun learning environment more

  • Dance-N-Groove, located next to Hutto Elementary School on Mager Ln, offers ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop classes.

    Our goal at Dance-N-Groove is to not only teach each student dance technique but to give them the skills & confidence to become better people in life. We teach performance & encourage creativity in all class to build confidence & character. Safety is our number one concern at Dance-N-Groove & we strive to teach each student the skills & progressions to successfully & safely improve so that may be healthy people in life & dance as long as they choose. We hope that students leave our studio with lasting memories of dance & lasting friendships.

    Our students look forward to our annual studio end of year show. Students perform routines depending on class & have the chance to get all dressed up & show off on stage.
