Achieving Excellence! 8/24/2013

My daughter has been dancing here since she was 3 and she is now 14! Janice Ransom and Shawn Parker and their other instructors are excellent! They love these children and not only teach them dance, but give them the tools to learn self-discipline and always help them to achieve their personal best. They produce teams that score highest marks and bring home trophies and medals from the State Dance Championship. We anticipate more this year. Hidden fees? That's news to me. DG is the best! more

Dance Generation is the best!! 8/23/2013

My daughters have been dancing at dance generation since 2008 and the teachers they've had are so passionate about what they do and they have taught them so much that I can't believe all they've learned in these past 5 years! \r Each year my girls cant wait for dance to start because they love being apart of this studio. And they especially love all the memories they've been making along the way! more

The Young Fabulous Mom! 9/28/2010

This is my daughter's first year at Dance Generation (she's five) and so far I love it! I do not know what "hidden fees" the anonymous writer is speaking of. The price is about the same as anywhere else in town. There is a baton fee-clearly stated, a costume fee-clearly stated, and a recital fee-clearly stated. The recital is optional. There is also a chance for the kids to participate in a Christmas Parade-again, optional. These ladies are professional and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the environment. As for them being "not so nice" I haven't heard that from my daughter, but it may or may not come. If it does, I'm okay with it because kids today need to learn that not every one will be nice to them. This is a crazy world, so that would be a great lesson to learn early. As long as the occassional "meaness" is dance centered and not because of anythingh else, I'm okay with it. No extracurricular activity is free, and there are fees but if you read EVERYTHING, they are clearly stated. They even gav more

Great Dance Studio! 4/15/2010

My daughter started at Dance Generation this year and absolutely loves it. I have also been pleased with the studio. The class sizes are small and the instructors are all very friendly and professional. They are no more expensive than any other studio in town and the quality of dance learned at this studio is far better than other places I have seen in town. As for hidden fees, I have not come across any that they do not tell you about when you sign up (such as recital fee/costume fee) in which participation is optional. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. more

Dance Generation is THE BEST STUDIO IN MONTGOMERY 8/5/2009

My daughter has been a dancer at Dance Generation since she was three years old. We have been extremely pleased with every aspect of this studio. Mrs. Ramson and Mrs. Parker have always exhibited professionalism in every way and know each of the girls personally and take an active interest in each of them. Their tireless dedication coupled with their love of dance and in teaching future generations the love of dance make them exceptional in my opinion. While dance is a disipline, they always find a way to make it fun for the dancers. My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed\r her years with this studio as well her time on their award winning competetive teams and her participation in their recitals. (We tried another local studio for one year and very quickly returned back to Dance Generation.Their pricing is moderate and reasonable and they always pick age appropriate, modest costumes for their dancers while striving to get the best price available for them. They spend many hours evaluating more

It Was Great 6/17/2008

Dance Generations has been a part of my life since I was 6. I came in a happy child that liked ballet, but i left a young lady that respected dance and loved it. They taught me so much, and I appreciated everything I was taught. I was there from age 6-12, and it was great. My pictures still hang on the walls in the studio, and I miss it more and more each day. Dance is my passion; my one true love. Ms. Janice and Ms. Shawn pushed me, and as a end result, I am a great dancer today. If I had the choice, I would go back, and dance there until I graduate high school, but my father won't let me. My memory of this wonderful experiance and my hope that one day I will dance again, maybe even professionally will live on until the day dance dies, yes, until DANCE dies. more

First and last year 5/2/2007

This is my daugher's first year at Dance Generation. I've been pleased with the things she has learned, but other things prevent us from going there next year. The prices are high and you have to pay in cash, which is inconvenient. There are a lot of "other" extra fees, too. My daughter has commented that one ore more of the instructors have not always been nice to her. We won't be going back next year. more
