Dana and her team are fantastic! The instructors are knowledgeable and the horses are fit , healthy and well cared for (with a full time veterinarian). Yes, there are different instructors available and if you don't specify who you want, you will get one of the many professionals on the team depending on who is working that day (we've liked all of them). However, if you want to ride with one specific instructor, you are able to sign up with that instructor. You can also specify which horse you want to ride. (Many to choose from!) My 9yr old daughter has been riding with Dana and her team for the past year (lessons only, not showing) and she can't wait for each lesson. She chooses her instructor and which horse she wants to ride. She has learned to trot and cantor and has just begun jumping. What a waste of time/money. They don't disclose that you will have a completely random instructor each time you ride. The instructors do not communicate with one another, so they have no way to monitor progress. Absolutely zero continuity from lesson to lesson. They were so clueless, they even had a horse saddled in a Western saddle when I ride English (wasting 15 mins of my paid lesson time to resaddled the horse) and weren't bothered by the error. They cancel lessons at the last minute and don't return client phone calls. God forbid you actually complain to Dana. She is condescending, rude and ignores legitimate criticism. They are priced well below market, but don't be fooled -- you get what you pay for. If you seek a professional, well-organized barn with instructors who take an interest in your development, I would stay far away from this barn. Cons: Very disorganized, Rude, Unprofessional more
