I would recommend that no one eat at Damon's, ever. I found Damon's to be an untrustworthy and offensive establishment. The woman ringing us up asked, ""any tips on that?"". We were ordering at a counter, not being served. Who would we be tipping, and for what? It is an attempt at guilt-tripping when someone asks for a tip, and I think it is distasteful and wrong to do so. They then charged me a dollar and some change more than what I ordered plus tax. I looked all over the menu trying to find something that would add up to that extra charge, even something indicating that the glasses for water were not free, or cards had an extra charge. I could not find anything to account for that extra money. Also, while checking the menu for an indication of that charge, I noticed it said ""GOD IS LOVE"" on the back of it in giant capital letters, quoting ""Matt"" and some number. First on that, there is no Book of Matt. It's ""Matthew"". They had plenty of type space left, at least get it right. Second on that, I find it offensive to even see something like that in a public place. If you want to have that on a bumper sticker, go ahead. If you want to run a public restaurant, leave it outside. Public places should not shove one religion in people's faces. If you want to put up phrases from multiple world-wide religions, fine. If you want to mention no religion at all, fantastic. But don't shove yours in my face.
Pros: The grease on the pizza only made us mildly sick.
Cons: The woman ringing us up asked for a tip, though doing nothing to earn one, and overcharged anyway.
