D'amico Hair Lounge

I visited d'amico hair lounge as a treat to myself for my birthday. I requested Jessica because I had read some of the reviews about her online. Everyone was very nice and even wished me a happy birthday when I told them what I was doing. I waited in the lobby for a few minutes, Jessica did greet me and said she'd be with me in a few moments. I could see she was a very busy stylist, however she kept her word and had me into her chair before I could even have a sip of my wine that the front desk clerk offered. Right away I felt comfortable with Jessica and we discussed together what colors and styles would work best for me, and her concern for the "health" of my hair was genuine. She made me feel so special and confident with our choice. I will tell you that I haven't seen my hair look this beautiful in years! I've been getting compliments left and right and I must say that I really gave myself a treat choosing this salon and stylist. I will be a loyal customer for years to come. I found d'amico hair lounge online doing a brandon search for salons. I just moved to the area and wasn't sure where to go. thats the worst thing about moving is finding a good stylist and leaving your old one. I called and made an appointment for a cut and Danielle was the stylist who did my hair. She was great, nice and seemed to really like what she does. She listened to what I wanted and suggested other great ideas too that might work. I really like my cut and I will be sure to go back for my color as well. more

I stopped in to make an appointment at this salon. I was immediantly greeted by a smyling upbeat receptionist. The salon was busy and the hair that I saw walking in and out was impeccable. I can't wait for my appointment,, I know i have found my new salon......Plant city ,Fla more

I normally don't write reviews, but I feel compelled after my TERRIBLE experience at this salon! I just had my hair RUINED here- and paid a fortune for it! The unexperienced stylist completely chopped my hair off and the color is HORRIBLE! My hair has never looked so BAD! I am MORTIFIED because I got it done because I am in a wedding next week. I don't want to get it done again because they damaged it. I HAVE been to upscale salons in Tampa, and BELIEVE ME this is NOT one of them! I don't know who they are kidding with their outrageous prices! I would have been better off doing it myself. PLEASE, PLEASE do not go here!!! There are much nicer salons in Tampa, I was just looking for someplace closer. Boy, do I regret it! Now I'm going to have to wear a hat to the wedding- or at least slick back what is left of it- it looks that BAD! Don't be fooled by the positive reviews, they were written by the owner herself, Jessica. THIS PLACE RUINED MY HAIR AND IT IS WAY OVERPRICED! I am so disappointed with the way it looks, everyone keeps asking me what happened to my hair color- NOT in a good way! It's embarassing! The "stylist" gave me a "chop job" in addition to ruining the color. It looks nothing like I asked. I will now have to go pay someone to fix it because I will not set foot in this salon again. I was looking for a nice salon in Brandon, and believe me, this place is NOT it! I got my hair done before going on vacation thinking it would look good and I hate it! I was not able to fully enjoy my vacation with BAD HAIR! I've never written an online review, but I promised myself when I got back from vacation I would because it just looks that bad! My boyfriend is trying to be nice about it, but I can tell he hates it. The owner posted (herself) that this is Brandon's hidden gem... Um, I don't think so! Please take my advice and go somewhere else!!!!!!!!!! more

I just had my hair done yesterday and it is the best color I have gotten in so long. Jessica D'amico is awesome!!!!! This is a hidden little gem in Brandon. Worth the drive if you are in Tampa. I have been to the "Best of Tampa" salons in South Tampa and had really bad experiences with my color. Great place!!!! more
