Dalton's Little Explorers

Daltons Little Explorers is a great daycare and school. They provide the children with alot of hands on learning as well as academic learning. For example they are having summer science camp this summer and my son has learned all about volcanos and making rubber eggs! They do alot of outdoor activities like bike day and water play day. They also provide gymnastics class and take the kids to the Jumparoo just across the street. They are a part of Idaho Stars and take classes for child development. I even took a class with one of the care providers! Just one semester away from being an environment acessor for daycare centers myself I dont see anything wrong with this school/daycare. I think that the new owners are doing an excellent job of letting the children be children first. more

There is a difference between a daycare and a preschool. Parents must understand this first before picking one. I went and looked at this ""daycare"" after a friend told me about them... I was disgusted with the place. First all the kids looked unhappy, snotty noses, and were either crying or screaming. The teachers were very much so more interested in their phones then the screaming kids. The teachers looked snotty and unfriendly. After leaving the place I felt as I needed to go to spa for a week... just to relax. The environment was loud, too bright, and just gross. I dont understand how the parents can leave their kids in a place like that. MONEY is the issue, you get what you pay for. Also take the time to google the workers... I was told one of the girls there is a porn writer and another is an ex drug user... I am so sad for the kids and parents. If you want a good preschool, parents do your homework. Go in during the lunch time, nap time, and outside play. I am not going to even get started on their outside play area. SAFETY is the only word that isnt in that poor excuse of a muddy snowy dump!! more

I absolutely love this place. I have had my children here for over a year now and they have grown so much. I have never experienced anything negative with the staff or owner. I would and have emphatically recommended the daycare to all of my friends and family. more

This is not a good daycare. Their ratios are usually ABOVE state min. The children get yelled at frequently, watch several hours of movies each day and the owner makes the employees physically force the children to lay down at nap time. There is also only one bathroom for children and staff to share. Children are allowed to go back to the bathroom in groups and are not supervised appropriately. Children are also emotionally humiliated for not having the same skills as their peers. The owner has frequently left potty training children out by the bathroom naked because a child did not have the skills to get dressed on his own. The owner also drinks alcohol at the center, with her employees, after business hours. I am surprised that she has never been turned into the authorities. Do not place your children at this daycare. more
