Don't use this attorney!\r
\r
I contacted this attorney based on his website. According to them they won't accept a case unless it's viable and they state that ""most"" cases are settled within 6 months. \r
\r
I spent 3 years stuck in a lemon waiting for Mr. Dalton to do something with my case. (Plus a full year prior to the case in order to meet the lemon law)\r
\r
In 3 years the man never returned a phone call or gave me an update. 2 years after the case began I had an arbitration date scheduled that was canceled. That was the one and only time anything took place and even then Mr. Dalton never called with an update or explanation. \r
\r
I stopped by his office only to be turned away without the opportunity to speak to him. My case was open and shut. It had officially met the LA lemon law not once, but 5 times. \r
\r
After the arbitration date I began to ""pester"" their office for information. I finally threatened to go to the Bar and file a complaint, and still gave him 3 chances after that to return my emails and phone calls. He never did. Once I filed a complaint he dropped me as a client. I requested my file and documents, and did not receive them for 3 months after the request when I'd already been forced to get rid of the car at a $13,000 loss because I couldn't completely start over with a new attorney. \r
\r
The only reason I had never left before was if I'd dropped him they would have billed me thousands of dollars in fees. \r
\r
2 years later I am STILL paying for the car that I no longer own. This man is a poor excuse of an attorney. Beware!
