This is a wonderful place to come and here a fantastic symphony at work. Even if you are not a symphony fan, the archetiture is stunning. This was designed by the world famous I.M. Pei and this symphony stands as one of the finest in the nation. They do have wonderful performances all year long, especially during Christmas and the summer months. This tickets are reasonably priced in my opinion, considering the venue. more

Beautiful music in a beautiful place 8/18/2005

The Dallas Symphony Orchestra performs in the Meyerson Hall in the Arts District of Dallas. They play a wide variety of music including opera, Bach and more modern composers. The Meyerson is one of the nations finest orchestra halls and has wonderful acoustics. Tickets are reasonably priced considering your seeing a first rate orchestra. They sometimes perform for free at events in the City. Definately a thing to see (and hear!) in Dallas. more

Dallas Symphony Orchestra 8/18/2005

The Dallas Symphoney Orchestra plays a regular season at the Meyerson symphony hall downtown in the arts district, an exquisite building created by I.M. Pei. It's fine to get the cheapest seats possible, since you can hear really well anywhere. The annual Christmas concert is very enjoyable, and is really the best time to bring children. more

The Magnifiscant 7/22/2005

Built in 1989 by renowned architect I.M. Pei, the Meyerson Symphony Center has a spacious, circular lobby contained by a sweeping glass canopy. Inside, the expansive concert hall has an 85-foot ceiling. Cherry-wood walls surround the four main levels that seat up to 2,062 people. Events can be as intimate as high-school graduations and weddings, but the largest draws are for performances by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and the Dallas Wind Symphony. more
