Best

Amazing reading the reviews on the Dallas New Era. You can easily see who are the people from Dallas and who moved here from the ""big city"". I grew up with the Dallas New Era....

Worst

Since I have been trying to get in touch with the New Era I searched and found these reviews and not surprised. No answer, no website, went to the office and it was closed EARLY ...

Thanks but no thanks 1/19/2012

Since I have been trying to get in touch with the New Era I searched and found these reviews and not surprised. No answer, no website, went to the office and it was closed EARLY that day for some reason, I guess the earlier post was from someone that works or owns the paper because of the tone they took. Guess I will stick with the AJC or Paulding Neighbor. Remember, it's nice to be nice ;) more

Legal Organ 9/14/2011

I would suggest the Paper should catch up with the times. As Legal Organ of the City and County the paper is not providing easy and viable access to Public Notices. This subjuct should be broached with the town council and a fix positioned to rectify austere limits of the Dallas New Era and Public Notices. more

Excellent paper 12/8/2010

Amazing reading the reviews on the Dallas New Era. You can easily see who are the people from Dallas and who moved here from the ""big city"". I grew up with the Dallas New Era. It is and always has been (and hopefully always will be) a small town news paper, published once per week, and full of the type of news one would expect and want in a small town weekly paper. No, they don't have a website. Yes, they are busy. They hand set the paper every week right there in the same building they have for decades!! Go in and watch one day. Excuse them if they don't have all the ""big city"" things like a special website or a receptionist to cater to your every need. They are a working newspaper. I can almost guarantee the calls went in on a monday morning.... as they are meeting a deadline!!! If you want all the ""big city"" conveniences, then why the heck did you invade our small town??? more

hello! anyone there? 11/5/2010

The other reviews are true. Still very difficult to speak to someone over the phone and still no website. I will have to try to go to their office more

Join the world wide web. I challenge you, Dallas New Era 10/3/2009

How do you contact the Dallas New Era? I challenge you to find a way to do it over the internet. It's just not there. If they aren't in the mood to answer the telephone, then you just can't do business with them. BUT, they are the legal organ of the county, so you think they'd have an obligation to the community to stay in touch and keep open lines of communication. Cons: No Website. No online access. more

Where are you? You don't answer your phones nor have an eay link to your web site. 11/12/2008

It's wednesday, November 12 and I have been trying to communicate via any way I can with this newspaper. I( called their competitor which answered the phone immediately unlike the Dallas New Era. Cons: No way to contact more

Great Job! 9/5/2008

The Dallas New Era paper has been very helpful in getting the word out to the public with our events relating to Job Fairs and whatnot. They are friendly and great folks! more
