My experience with this doctor was replete with poor customer service, lack of professionalism, and poor attitudes. I do not recommend this doctor based upon my experience. When I was setting up the appointment, I advised the doctor’s staff of all the medications I take, including an opioid blocker. I asked and verified twice that all of my medications were okay to take prior to the procedure. After the surgery, I experienced unexpected amounts of pain the first night, waking up every 2 hours. The next day, I attended the required checkup, informed the doctor and his staff about the pain, which they described as normal. That afternoon the pain become excruciatingly worse to the point that I felt I had to call the doctor again. One of the reasons I choose this doctor was his alleged availability to his clients. He said that you could call him day or night and he would answer right away or call right back. Being unable to see owing to the pain I was experiencing, my friend assisted me in dialing the doctor’s cell number at around 2 pm. I left a voicemail and then called again after no response for over an hour. After a day and a half of pain, I took myself off of my opioid blocking medication (which should have been done from the beginning) and started to feel relief. The doctor finally called me back two days later. During the next scheduled checkup, I relayed the story to help the doctor and his staff understand that they should add the medication to their list of items someone should not take before their procedure, only to be told by the doctor that it was my fault. My fault that I did not call him back to back until I reached him. My fault that I was on this medication used to help treat my auto immune disease. My fault that I did everything wrong according to him. All I wanted was an apology; however, the doctor seemed too arrogant to even consider he was in the wrong; and should have reviewed my medications.
