Anniversary night 4/7/2011

It was our anniversary and I decided to take my wife out for Seafood as she loves it but unfortunately I am not a huge seafood fan or lets say I wasn?t till I dined here. Frankly my impression of seafood has changed as out here the fish was so fresh unlike other places where you get a weird smell from the fish. We started off with the Sushi and enjoyed them , then my wife ordered the Striped Bass (steamed mussels, seared shrimp with fennel, onions and shallot rings) and I had the crispy Louisiana Redfish . They were both excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed it right till the last bite. more

Favorite Seafood Restaurant 4/6/2011

One of my favorite seafood restaurants in Dallas. Great Location, Great offerings and pleasant atmosphere. My wife loved the Lobsters while I enjoyed the swordfish. Nice wine selection too. Would highly recommend. more

Great fine dining ! 4/1/2011

I was visiting family in Dallas when I had a chance to dine at the Dallas Fish Market. I was pleasantly impressed by this restaurant. It is a nice fine dining seafood place located right on Main Street. The ambiance was nice and our server was quite attentive and cheerful. We started off with the seafood Tower which was just right for the four of us. Then we ordered the Scallops, Pan seared Wild Salmon and Lemon Sole Meuniere. Even though we were full by the end of the meal, we still ordered two desserts so we could all split. It was actually more of a greed than need but we enjoyed it nevertheless. In a nutshell, Nice location, Great Ambiance, attentive service and outstanding food resulted in a great fine dining experience for all of us. more

Definitely a cut above the rest! 3/29/2011

I loved dining at the Dallas Fish Market for a couple of reasons. As soon as we arrived we were promptly seated. Server was friendly and had great suggestions. The food from the appetizers to the entrees to the main course was Amazing! For starters we had the Crab fritter and the Chili oysters and for entrees we had Scallops and Monk Fish. All the food was so fresh and the flavor was divine. Definitely a cut above the rest in terms of Seafood. Would go back over and over again. more

REALLY IMPRESSIVE!! 3/28/2011

We went there for my wife?s birthday and it was great! Have been here earlier for dinner but comparatively lunch was quieter (which was good for us as we could talk and enjoy our meal even more. The service was fantastic. The wait staff was helpful. They suggested some great wines and the quality of food was phenomenal. Their wine room seemed interesting for a small get together for about 20-25 people. REALLY IMPRESSIVE; GOTTA CHECK THEM OUT!! more

Amazing Happy Hour! 3/25/2011

I went to the Dallas Fish Market for their Happy Hour with my girlfriend and it was wonderful. For drinks they had unbelievable prices and the snacks came in fast and were incredible.. The service was impeccable. Wait staff seemed attentive and friendly. They had some Amazing cocktails too. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves without taking a big hit on the wallet. Will surely visit again. more

Memorable Evening!! 3/16/2011

I went to the Dallas Fish Market for my boyfriend's birthday. We both are huge seafood fans. As we got there we handed over the car to the valet and proceeded towards a memorable evening. For starters we had the Steamed Prince Edward island mussels which were tequila flamed and were outstanding...so fresh and flavorful. Then we had the Crispy Louisiana Red fish which was served with Thai Chili noodles and Asian veg stir fry and it was Amazing too! and then for dessert we had the Chocolate Mousse cake. Simply loved the food, ambiance and service. At the end of the evening my boyfriend decided to propose to me so Dallas Fish Market I'm going to remember you always!! more

I miss Dallas Fish Market when I'm in college!! 3/10/2011

I had been to Dallas Fish Market with my mom sometime back and enjoyed the food but unfortunately since I moved out, had not been able to savor the seafood. When I came back from college one place I didn't want to miss going to was the Dallas Fish Market. I had the Salmon Crudo as appetizer which was nice thick slices of salmon with Jalape?o oil, red chili oil, avocado, red radish and micro greens and then I had their Red Fish which was a crispy fried red fish served with veggies and rice noodles and crushed peanuts. Oh ! Dallas Fish Market, you don't know how much I miss you in college! LOL!! more

Great choice for a seafood destination in Dallas downtown I must say...Sushi was Outstanding!! The service out here seemed professional and attentive. Won't be long before I go back there for their Happy Hour! more

Dallas Fish Market located right across The Joule Hotel on main street is an experience worth having. Dined here with friends who were visiting from the East coast and all of us loved it. The fish was fresh and flavorful and the wine selection impressive. Definitely my favorite seafood restaurant in Dallas. more

Gracious and welcoming evening! 3/17/2008

Dined early on a Saturday night (pre-theatre) and were warmly welcome into 40% fully restaurant. The soft whites and greys of the dining room are minimalistic, but very beautiful and calming. Service was extremely warm and full of good suggestions on wine and food. Started with the beet salad (loved it) and the Ceasar (nothing too special). We then had the Sea Bass and the Swordfish and both of us found the meal to be one of our very favorite in Dallas. Followed the meal up with a lovely glass of port at the suggestion of the sommolier and left very happy and calling our friends to let them know what we found. We were also very happy that by the time we left the place had filled up quite a bit. We hope they are very successful. Great Lunch for Business 9/26/2007

What a beautiful place. Many upgrades since the days of Jerobaum. I had lunch with a client - we both had fish dishes - I was not too crazy about the Amberjack Fish Tacos - however the dessert was fabulous - it will keep you coming back for more... There is a nice quite room that is seperated with a glass wall that is perfect for a Business lunch. If I am downtown again for lunch - I will go back!! more
