I rented a trailer from these gentlemen for an elk hunt in the high elevations. A deposit was paid to them 3-4 weeks prior to our pickup date and they were aware of what we intended to use the trailer for and our expected elevation (9000 feet). A week prior to our pickup date they called to say they had winterized it, but that we would still be able to use the toilet if we chased down the contents with water. On our pickup date I was surprised to hear him request a check for $300 cleaning deposit (this was never mentioned before); on walk through he assured us that everything was in good working order and that the propane tanks were both full. Despite the fact that our drive was all paved roads we were surprised to find a flat tire on our arrival at camp. Three men worked to loosen the spare tire to no avail and we were forced to buy a new one the next day. When we presented the tire to the mechanic he indicated that the tread was barely legal; this is a tire on a 2010 trailer.
