Very Nice Place To Stay 2/24/2011

I have stayed at many older places and I would have to put this one at the top of my list. I stayed in a large suite and it was very very nice. It was clean, had nice furniture, and the dishes even matched. The front office has extremely nice personal working there and they make you feel at home away from home. They have 2 pools and they were clean and well maintained, along with the weightroom that was on the premises at no extra charge! This place is within 5 minutes of Fort Rucker and there is great places to eat within walking distance. I will diffently go back here. more

Ok place to stay, close to Fort Rucker 5/5/2008

This is my first time writing a review on this site. I stayed at Daleville Inn not knowing what to expect. We got a renovated room w/ a king size bed. It had the regular stuff, microwave, fridge, tv. No clock, no wi-fi, no continental breakfast, so beware. For the most part it was just a regular room, no frills. Even though it was suppose to be the renovated room it still felt kinda old b/c of the bathroom and the decor. The tub was stained and the toilet was one that seemed like it was from a public restroom, w/ no cover and a metal handlebar like you would see. The theme of the room was leopard, leopard prints everywhere, which made it look cheesy not upgraded. For the most part the cleaning service was good, the room looked clean, the front desk was friendly, there is a pool and I saw people swimming in it so maybe it was enjoyable. Parking is right in front of the door. For what I paid which was cheap it was worth it. It's right outside the Daleville Gate from Fort Rucker, so it's really close to the post. If all you need is a bed to sleep and nothing else, this place wouldn't be so bad, just don't expect anything else. Pros: Close to post, tv., microwave, fridge, front door parking, friendly service, good housekeeping Cons: Old hotel, no wi-fi, no continental breakfast, no clock in room more

Okay if you have pets 3/13/2007

This if the first time I've ever reviewed anything on Citysearch but I wanted to make sure others coming to the area knew about this place. If you're military and have pets then it's great but be warned that the units are dirty, not well kept, and just because you keep your dog on a leash doesn't mean everyone else here does. Pros: Nice office workers; allow dogs; large suite has lots of room and full kitchen Cons: Dirty, badly kept rooms; dog rules not enforced; lots of trash on grounds and in parking lot; wireless is unreliable; pool is dirty and unusable more
