I was very happy with this company. They came out fast, fixed my tub (it was spitting out water all over the place) and did so in less than one hour. Then the plumber (Harry) stayed and fixed other little things like the stopper in my bathroom sink and a grinding noise in the hall bathroom faucet to make sure I got the most bang for my buck. I was pleased and I will call them again. more

What I remember about Dale Plumbing: great service for a pretty reasonable price. I called them for an emergency (kitchen spilling out water everywhere--Friday nigh, my son's Spring Break coming home evening) and then back for misc stuff around and under the house. I was happy with the fact that they never tried to overcharge or rip me off, they were neat and tidy and they were willing to accommodate my emergency situation and agreed to come for the other stuff during the regular work week. This was one of those experiences when you're thankful for sites like Google and Yelp. I just recently relocated from Southern California to up here and I haven't really had a chance to make enough connections to be able to find a good plumber up here so I was a little daunted when my first plumbing problem occured. I called Dale Plumbing on Saturday because my toilet was filled to the rim. I had to turn off the water to it and I only have one toilet in my little apartment. I had already called the landlord but never got an answer back so I was stuck trying to locate a plumber who would do the job right the first time so I didn't get into trouble calling a plumber on my own without clearance from the landlord. Google and Yelp showed me Dale Plumbing and a few others who did 24 hours service. The first one I called didn't answer. I called Dale Plumbing 2nd and they answered right away. I used Dale Plumbing Inc several times in the past five years and they have never disappointed me. They are always on charge, very professional, honest and reliable. Every plumber of theirs is very knowledgeable and clean. With drain stoppages, they are able to clear a blockage without making a mess. They also replaced my water heater two years ago and came out on a Saturday to do it. It was a frightening mess having burst pretty much all over the laundry room floor but they cleaned up the water and had a new tank in place and connected the same day! I've used Dale Plumbing for the last three and a half years on my house in Palo Alto and also my rental property in Redwood City. They are ALWAYS on time, they always do a great job and they charge quite reasonably. It seems they specialize in newer products too like tank-less water heaters which I've spoken to them about in the past and they seem very knowledgeable so I will be doing one at my house sooner or later. I was very disappointed with my experience with Dale plumbing. I had them repair some drainage pipes for which they had to tear up concrete. Instead of protecting my belonging with a tarp they went ahead getting concrete dust over everything in my garage. Then they found a new problem which James, the foreman said would cost a couple hundred more to fix and they charged me almost $1000 more. I asked them to loosen up a drain stopper in my bathroom. James said he didn't have the screws needed to fix it. So he sent someone else. This other worker proceed to do an hour of work, without my approval and actually rendered the drain stopper inoperable (it had previously worked). Despite the fact that i hadn't approved the work and the caused a new problem, they still expect me to pay for that time. I advise you stay away. more
