For All the great reviewers who were waiting for this place to close and I'm pleased to announce we are closing our restaurant and last dinner served will be on Sunday April 27th. In the future please write about the food and if you had issues please do address it with the manager on the floor. Also write without hurting the business so other business owners like me don't have to loose all their investments and home. more

Had the worst experience ever at this place. Had very high expectations on this but my first visit to this place sucked and will never set foot there again. After hearing about the health violations, I am scared down to my toes ... The buffet was bad too. Me and my friend had also ordered some food from the menu and the wait time was loooong. If you want really good south indan food, I recommend mysore veggie and udipi bhavan where atleast things are clean and tasty. ooooh..... scary scary.... I have tasted Indian food in so many restaurants in US. But we can not compare Dakshin with anyone else. Dakshin's food taste is really great..The tasty food makes you feel like you are at your home. Its mixture of speality South Indian and North Indian dishes. The name says as south Indian restaurant, but they do make good North Indian dishes...FORGET ABOUT THOSE NEGATIVE FEEDBACKS...Best place to have Nice and Tasty food... Dakshin restaurant given a big treat to Indians on the New year buffet. They had the varieties and was prepared in a very authentic and traditional. I knew the Indian food receipes though!!!. Some of them that I really enjoyed there was Avial-U gotta try them,it was real kerala style. Vada,malai chicken,chicken Chicken555(first time I tried this and will be having in future in dakshin)...if you like pastries-here they go with unbeatable designs look like real seafood(but it is just the cake when I found it is just the design the baker had done)....they had strawberry,and 3 or 4 varieties...I didn't have place to eat in my stomach.....Nobody can have a taste for there very reasonable pricing...Service-Excellent..I placed an order the same day after my buffet for a birthday party too.....You just visit Dakshin and pls go with empty stomach and enjoy there non veg and veg varieities. more

What else could you get from here.. even though the food is not good people prefer to pay for the ambience, however this is a place where both are not good.. infact are worst than Indian restaurants in INDIA... . people are not at all polite... food is pathetic.. there are plenty of other better than this one... well not only think twice but also don't think to visit.. I've gone to this restaurant several times and enjoyed their food, which makes it that much more revolting to hear about how dirty this place was... \r \r Good lord... this review tool is a real pain in the butt... Best authentic indian both veg and non veg food around boston. chicken tikka masala is the best . Feel like having in Sheraton .delhi. Service has to improve little bit . I never seen such a speciall buffet around america. they are doing in high level.. with excellent piece of carving. more

We have been to Dakshin quite a few times and unlike the other reader they have the best food in town. They make everything fresh and their Sambar is out of this world. Their weekend buffets are astounding. We have gone ther several times on weekends and they are always packec. Bottom line experience Dakshin for yourself and you will be presently surprised.
