This is an excellent place to stop for lunch and dinner on the way to Seattle from Couer d'Alene. It has the freshest sandwiches and cleanest atmosphere available. The dinner is outstanding with one of the best wine lists you could ask for. This, along with it's friendly staff, is a must stop cafe'. more

Good food, bad Service 4/3/2009

best thing about dakota is the food tastes good and is fresh. Worst is that the service is reliably poor. I go back for the food dreading waiting for the wrong thing to be delivered to my table or something missing. I reluctantly go back. more

Dakota Cafe 8/20/2005

The Dakota Café used to be a cookie joint called Sweet Memories. When they changed to the Dakota Café, they added some other food items to their menu such as steaks, seafood, chicken, soups, pasta salads, green salads, and sandwiches. Their prices are very reasonable. The food is great and the staff is very friendly. This is a good place to go when you are going to eat out. more
