One of the things I miss most about CU is reading the Daily Illini. This is a free newspaper run by students of the U of I. I loved reading this paper, which contains national news, local news, news pertinent to Illinois students, and editorials and opinions. It's a great way to keep up with what's going on in the world and locally. For those of you who have moved on and miss the DI, you can read it online at www.dailyillini.com! more

I admire that who run a school newspaper 10/1/2005

I think it is very hard to run a newspaper on a daily base and I think these people did a great job. I like the section "picture of the day" and the first page that indicates the important news nationwide, statewide, or campus wide. I don't like the second page because the first half is usually about a celebrity and I don't think that is important. You can get celebrity's news everywhere so there's no need to add one more column. more
