Wonderful, friendly staff. GREAT kalua pig - try their version of a Cuban sandwich! Be aware that, if you don't keep 1 hand on it, it'll fall apart & you'll need to use a fork to finish it but SO WORTH IT. more

Amazing Customer Service!!! My wife and I got married last month and had Da Kine Cater our wedding reception. Not only was the food amazing but they also helped us with the table coverings, decorations, serving our guests, etc... They had no limits to the amount of help they gave us to our celebration. They just let us know they were there for whatever we needed. We can't say enough about the company and the family that runs it. Thank you, thank you, and thank you. We both will be regulars every time we are in town. P.S. the Kailua pig, teriyaki chicken, and mac salad were all amazing... Thank you again. more

This place is a great family orientated restaurant. The staff is amazing and nice. A friend recommended this place to me and ever since my parents took me here I will now always want to come back here. The food is delicious and the place is clean. When there is a mess it is quickly cleaned without us having to ask. I think if we had more restaurants like this in the world and more people knew about them i'm sure more people would stop going to places like Wendy or McDonald and start heading over to eat at places like these. Lets hope more people find places like DA KINE'S and start eating at them. Definitely a place to check out. more

I've gone to Da Kine's so many times now & I can't rant about it enough... it's a family owned business & you can tell they all really enjoy what they do. The place is always clean/sanitary and the food is great & fresh! It's one of my favorite places to eat in Vancovuer... Everyone should check it out! more

We went to Da Kine's for the first time, and it was amazing.It is hard to find, but don't let that stop you. The food was wonderful, and more importantly, the staff treated us like family. The atmosphere is laid back and peaceful. We will be back! more

Da Kines catered our company picnic this weekend and EVERYONE was absolutely raving about the food! If you're looking for the best Kahlua Pork in Clark County, then look no further. The chef even waited until the last minute to put the food in the trays to ensure that it was fresh and OH BOY was it! SO delicious, and the leftovers were fought over too! I was amazed when the current owners took over this spot a few years ago. Instead of generic sanwiches, Da Kines has a full menu with hot Hawiian dishes, home made soups, daily lunch specials that really are special, and burgers and sandwiches if that's all you want. more

I meet with some friends for lunch once a month and we always pick Da Kine's. They have a great menu and we have never been disappointed with our choices. They also make a fantastic Latte!!! more

The BEST Mac salad I have ever, EVER had!!! I had the Kalua Pig.... Oh wow! The smokey flavor, the tender pork, I can't wait to go back. My 1 1/2 year old is one of the pickiest earters. I got him the Kid Bento with Chicken Teriyaki, and he gobbled it up! My meal came with Haupia... This absolutely amazing, to die for Coconut dessert with toasted coconut on top. I could eat a whole tray of that and not bother to share. more

Nice price, great service! GREAT FOOD ! and it seems that they know what Hawaiian food is !!! OMG! YUM! good job ! I love Asian food, but this is NOT Asian! It is Hawaiian! I could go on for the entire review just raving about the warm-hearted folks who run this place, especially at night when things slow down a bit. Genuine, kind, friendly, attentive, and appreciative are some words that come to mind. As for the food, you'll find reasonable prices, and from what I've tasted so far, very succulent, moist chicken and pork dishes. Sure there's more, but I've only been in three times now (in a week's time!), and have not explored the full menu. I generally order dark chicken meat when I go to restaurants because I find that usually the white meat seems a bit dry. Not here- it's extremely moist and tender. At the end of the evening meal, they've served up a very tasty coconut treat, which is another thing that surprised me, since I don't really like coconut. Nice surprise after nice surprise here... it's a definite two thumbs up, five-star place. Pros: Service, Taste Cons: drove by for years without seeing more
