We had a great time. The fare is ""well-done, if typical Italian."" The food is nothing to rave about but each dish (calamari had just a hint of breading, the two pasta dishes were fresh and the sauces were savory, a veal dish was just barely cooked through--exactly as I requested) was well prepared and attractively presented. The service was prompt and friendly even though the place was packed. I would eat there more if only I followed my own advice--book early!
Pros: Festive, friendly atmosphere
Cons: Gets crowded
