Brigitte is just wonderful with dogs--my dog in particular. My 2 year labradoodle had separation anxiety as a pup & barked horrifically when I left the house. Brigitte taught me how to overcome that, and really worked with us in our environment, making sure that I could enforce the rules while at the same time relaxing the pup. I couldn't have done it without her--she was practical, kind and inspirational. I'm a huge fan. more

What really makes Brigitte stand out is that she takes a personal interest in each dog and gets to know each one of their personalities. She looks for what they excel at and encourages them like an athlete; its pretty incredible what it does for an insecure dog's self esteem. Brigitte works with us to help our dogs become more intelligent well balanced members of society; its really like sending our dogs off to school every day. Brigitte really has a special way with the dogs and her patience & understanding is infectious. She helps us see our dogs' potential & teaches us how to use that as a tool. And when their is a behavior we aren't comfortable w/Brigitte helps us to see why & how it became as well as helps us reshape it. We love Brigitte and are grateful for what she has done for us. Dog Day Afternoon goes above and beyond the average 'dog walker'. Adventures such as the beach, dog parks and hiking, set this service in a category of it's own. Brigitte is experienced with every animal personality and offers helpful advice at all times. She has the patience and knowlege for training that actually works! Whenever I have questions about my dog, I call Brigitte before I call the vet. She is reliable and professional but above all she LOVES her furry clients. Dog Day Afternoon has been our lifesaver! Brigitte is 100% reliable and has ALWAYS been there to help us out with Katie, our Chow Shepard Mix. Katie can be a handful but Brigitte is AMAZING at keeping Katie in line. Brigitte is beyond knowledgable about animals and always goes the extra mile to help out- whether it be with helping detect a health problem or encouraging more training. Our dog Shep is a high energy herding dog that isn't comfortable around most people. She warmed up to Brigitte the very first time they met, and jumps out of her skin from excitement everytime Brigitte comes to pick her up.
