Good deal, Good guys, great experience 2/1/2017

DM Select replaced my 30 year old HVAC. We got a very good deal from Brian. He was very nice and even fixed the problem I had with my old system. All of the technicians that replaced my system were very friendly and professional. Like Brian, they answered all my questions and I never felt like I was bothering them. After they finished Brian came back to check to see if we were satisfied. He even brought some gifts for my kids. I would certainly recommend DM Select to anyone who need to fix or replace their HVAC system. more

The crew from DM Select (Thomas "Bean" Fields, Kyle Thompson and Yaw Achompong) installed two new Trane heat pumps in our home. They were professional, courteous, and did an excellent job. I would hire them again. more

Furnace replacement 12/14/2016

I needed a new furnace and this company completed the task. When I needed an immediate heat solution, I searched online comments and went with the company that I perceived would meet my needs. Though it's only been three days with the new furnace, it is pushing heat throughout the house. No issues or complaints. As for the company, they provided constant communications and answered all my questions. The installation team was respectful and courteous at all times to my family. Steve, the primary installer, knows his craft. I would go to this company again with other needs. more

  • How did you get started in the HVAC & Plumbing business Dan?
    I started working for a local plumber when I was 19 years old. The owner, was the most decent man I know. He treated everyone fair and honest. That experience laid the foundation for my desire to own and operate my own HVAC company the exact same way. While it’s not a big secret, people just want to be treated fairly and honestly. If you do your very best to deliver that day in and day out, success will follow.

    And you Jim?
    My father owned an HVAC business, which I began working for in high school. Dad didn’t play favorites, he had me start at the bottom and work my way up, through every single position. From helper to managing the company, he was my role model as a father and as a mentor in business. He built his company on the desire to always provide good service and do an excellent job for every customer. Which is at the core of all we do at DM Select Heating and Cooling. Having that laser focus in common is the “why” behind Dan and I becoming business partners. It helps guide every decision we make, every day.
