I was not impressed with the DJ service. I probably should not have gotten a DJ for the wedding considering that I just gave him every song that I wanted played on a CD since I am so particular with my music. I was very disappointed that the speakers for the ceremony were NOT loud enough and I didn't hear any of the ceremony music. It was also very expensive to add on an hour so music could be played while guests were being seated. He failed to gather everyone for the first dance, which was really embarassing, I had to yell AS THE BEAUTIFUL BRIDE. For the cake, My catering lady coordinated it. I felt like we paid him way too much for what he actually did... which was press play. Also the DJ got changed at the very last second and wouldn't come and meet us at the venue to see how much room he needed. This is why the ceremony music couldn't be heard. Would not recommend this DJ company. more

Your selections were wonderful, you kept the party rolling and everyone was truly enjoying themselves. It was wonderful to not have to stress about keeping everyone involved. YOU did it! A million thank yous!!!!! Second, thank you so much for the wonderful job you have done for our past 2 Christmas parties. It was great to see people hanging around because they were having so much fun! You really do make the parties so fun! Everyone enjoys themselves. I already have staff asking if you are coming back! Awesome DJ!!! 11/21/2006

I would recommend MATT to anyone who is thinking about having a DJ at their event. MATT and his assistant ALLIE did a superb job sticking to our requests and anytime the bride or groom requested something, it was the next song he'd play! Talk about instant gratification! He really listens to your requests and has a great personallity. No cheese was present AT ALL! So awesome! The sound system was good.. He was kind of set up in an inconspicuous spot, so we couldn't see him unless we were right in front of him. His speakers could have been out nearer to the audience, but we just went to him and had a blast!! He also has a very ecclectic collection. Believe me, if he can find 'Sister Christian' by Night Ranger, he can find anything!!! Pros: Played every last request, and kept us going until we were done. Awesome!!! Great DJ for a Latin Crowd! 11/5/2006

DJ-MC was awesome in keeping all of our guests groovin', happy, and dancing at our wedding. We had a unique crowd of older latino families, youngsters, and 80's childs in between and DJ-MC seemed to have something for everyone! Great knowledge of spanish music, funk from the 70's, 80's and cool new stuff too. DJ-MC also did a wonderful job of keeping the flow of the reception at a good pace and was very easy to work with when we had to improvise on the spot! Good times, thank you DJ-MC!! Pros: Thumbs Up!! Everyone danced and danced and danced and danced... 9/19/2006

Matt did a great job at our wedding reception. He showed up early, was very understanding about some last minute issues, and picked a great song list that greatly complimented our beach themed reception. From the softer music during the meal to the great beats that kept us bumping well into the night, this was a great show. more

We loved the music and the sound set up was excellent. Thank you for doing all the microphones and being so personable! Our guests loved requesting music and everything played was excellent! You will definitely be recommended to our friends and family when they need a DJ. Pros: very personable Cons: none I can think of more

Rocking New Years Eve 2006 1/8/2006

What a crazy New Years Eve. The restaurant in which we were having our New Years Eve party at got flooded and we had to move the party of 50 to our house. DJ Matt was wonderful in adapting to his new enviroment, our garage! He played great tunes and had us dancing into the wee hours of the morning. The only downside is that he did not let me speak too long on the microphone, which was maybe a good thing reflecting back on the evening:) DJ Matt, you got two thumbs up from The Strickland's. Stanford University event (4/24/04) 5/6/2004

Thanks again for your help with our Admit Weekend Celebration. Our staff and students definitely enjoyed the evening. Your professional service and assistance before the event helped ease our nerves at a time of chaos. As for the event itself, the lighting and music definitely was a hit. The huge music library and flexibility made everyone feel welcome and wanted on the dance floor. Definitely was a lot of fun! more

Great Wedding DJ 9/10/2003

We loved how professional and carefree Matt's DJ services for our wedding were. Matt and his lovely daughter, Allie, helped make our wedding a fun time and a day to remember. He provided all the songs we requested and kept things lively for the dancing. He helped us with providing mics for the ceremony and really made the organization of all the sound and music easy for us. I highly recommend his services to anyone. We appreciated Matt's professionalism.... He maintained excellent communication throughout the stressful planning stages of our daughter's elegant ""vintage"" Sweet Sixteen birthday party; during the actual party, he knew exactly what we and our guests wanted. Matt is very intuitive....The distance he drove to make our daughter's night magical is much appreciated and was never a factor in the quality of his work..... Let me tell you that the event was the ""BOMB""!People are still talking about it--- You and Allie did a phenomenal job.
