Better than cable connections 4/4/2011

People find it difficult to understand that whenever the weather is bad, satelite signal gone bad as well. Its true even with Dish but unlike other cable connections, we can still watch TV programs because Dish is just GREAT! more

If you are looking for a good satellite service, Dish Network is a great choice. I had Dish for 4 years. To me, the very best thing that Dish Network has going for them is their DVR system. I had the system with the HD DVR on my main T.V. and an antenna from that DVR to my secondary T.V. This was great. Whether I was in bed or the living room, I could watch the same DVR'd programs. The way the channels are listed are listed or categorized well. more

Not Complicated DVR 2/27/2011

I am a dish customer for about 6 months now. What I love about Dish is their DVR and their EPG or electronic program guide. Anyway, the DVR 625 has helped me a lot and when I first learned how to use it, it wasn’t that complicated. Until now, it still works fine and I did not act up ever since. Great product! more

I don't know where to begin because DISH is about everything. It has the best reception, many channels, good service, more upgrades, and great pricing. What else can you ask for? more

switch to Dish NOW 2/23/2011

Dish Network is good. I've had it now for more than 2 years. Looking back, I wonder why I waited so long, and I was even a cable employee. If there is a heavy pour of rain, the signal can be interrupted but it resumes within minutes. This does not happen all the time though. more

The quality of the picture is wonderful. The HD channels are great. The customer service is good. They always answer fairly quickly and they always are Americans and try to be helpful, no matter what I ask. My two year contract was slightly more than it would have been with DirectTV with discounts. But after two years, I'll be paying $22 less/yr. than DirectTV. My DVR records for 2 TV's with no extra cost! That is only true if TV2 is standard definition, but that is a reasonable cost for me since my 2nd TV is smaller. If I want to watch HD, which is important to me, I watch it on TV1. But I can still record two HD channels at the same time and watch the recordings on either TV. more
