More Than an Art Gallery… 4/26/2011

I was visiting the Michigan Design Center for the first time and I went into DeGrimme Gallery. They have some really cool stuff! Nice looking, quality furniture pieces and awesome paintings and accessories: art, oil paintings, watercolors, etc. They have everything from traditional to contemporary. I just found out they’re open to the public and very reasonably priced! Tip: Ask about getting a discount. I wish they had more accessories to choose from, but I did find a cute little table lamp on sale and I will definitely be going back for more. more

Name doesnt really do it 8/5/2005

An art gallery named De Grimme, located on a street named Stutz, thats a sure recipe for disaster. I was definitely surprised when i got in, but not overly enthusiastic. I would suggest seeing it just to see it, but only if you truly love art, because i don't think the passive art fan would enjoy anything that De Grimme has to offer. It can't hurt to further your artistic horizons is my philosophy, so check it out and tell me what you think... more
