When I boasted to my brother, an attorney living in Manhattan, how Orlando had some great restaurants, he was quite skeptical. After a meal at Cypriana, he grudgingly admitted that yes, there really was good food outside the five boroughs. All the dishes I've tried at Cypriana have been excellent or superb: really delicious. Their fish and chicken dishes are particularly good, which is unusual for a Greek restaurant. They have the best green beans in the world; the garlic potatoes are tasty too. Ambiance, however, is lacking, despite the neat tile floor. It used to be a diner; it shows. Service was good, then spotty, then the owner came and chewed everyone out. Now the service is good again.
Pros: The food! Exquisite!
Cons: The ambiance! Almost makes you want to ask for fries.
