my wife was admitted there and i almost had to get a judge to sign a court order for her release. Dr. jerry sanders is corrupt and dangerous. His ""treatment"" facility is filthy, the staff is rude, condencending, and untrained. When i visited her i found her more agitated, depressed and MORE SUICIDAL then when she was admitted. When i complained and spoke to the administrator(s) i was made to feel like a trouble maker and the length of my wife's required stay was increased. As i said before i lawyered up and it wasn't until faced with legal action and once they realized i/ we were not going to just ""listen to the doctor"" they had to withdraw and let my wife be discharged to outpatient treatment. Man, they hated losing all that insurance money.\r

i know and have observed dr. sanders in hospital(s), he is not qualified to practice medicine. he retains his license by pulling political strings not by positive peer or board review.\r

as a post script, my wife is fine. sees a psychiatrist on an outpatient basis and has not nor do i expect her to relapse. this is due to the outpatient treatment. if she had stayed any longer at cypress she most certainly would have contracted MSRA or had her mental health worsen. and the pity is that dr. sanders and the administrators structure cypress to keep the patients captive to keep the insurance and medicare money. they DO NOT care or want you or your loved one to get better. i implore you to see any other option than allowing admittance to this facility.
