Everything you'd expect from a slightly hole-in-the-wall-ish type cajun/creole restaurant. Oysters and shrimp taste fresh, whether served in an entree or fried for a poboy. Salads are refreshingly green - no boring iceberg here! The fried catfish is perfect - light, crispy batter and flaky fillet. One entree offers the catfish topped with crawfish etouffee.... indulgently delicious. My husband can't stop ordering the Troy's Favorite Lunch, which is a muffaletta with a side of gumbo. Tasty appetizers and desserts, too - try the spinach dip and whatever pies are fresh that day. Service can be a little slow when things are busy, but the staff are always friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a refreshing non-alcoholic beverage, try the ""mojito"" soda.
Pros: Fair prices, consistently good food, unpretentious service
Cons: Parking can be a little competitive, since there's a Gold's Gym in the same strip mall
