I took our six year old dog to Griffith based on a neighbors referral. I was primarily going for his skin allergies but also explained to them that I hadn't had him on his heartworm medicine for several months and needed to get him started back on it. They did the examination, gave me pills for his skin and then left a voicemail the next evening telling me he had heartworms... not very good bedside manner but I dismissed it and we discussed treatment. The time had come, I called and set an appointment a week or two in advance and headed out early to drop my pup off for his overnight stay and treatment. A few hours later I receive a phone call from Griffith asking me what he was there for. Really? I reminded them of the treatment plan and they apologized and said they didn't have the meds on hand and I needed to come get him.
