bad decision joing DD here...\r \r like other parents mentioned (nothing changed from then to now..i wonder if she cares for the feedback at all)...\r \r -same routine every single time. kids are extremely bored by the middle of the class.\r - she plays favorites and ignores some kids totally, this happend almost all the time with my kid even after requesting her to call the DD by name.\r - a leader is chosen every week, according to Ms. Cynthia, every kid is supposed to get their turn. but, it rarely happens. some kids go with out their turn to be a leader for months...its not surprising to see same kid become a leader almost every week. this used to make my DD feel bad because she felt less important in the class. \r - absolutely no bonding between the teacher and the kids. \r - no personal attention at all. if the kid is doing some steps wrong, she will let them do it wrong. rarely corrects. \r \r overall, we were not happy and i dont recommend this place. more

Very unprofessional studio (one long room with a messed up floor and no real separate waiting area for parents). - same routine every time - kids get BORED - she never calls them by the correct name - my daughter (and my friends daughter) begged us not to make them go back after a month and a half - I had paid ahead (bad idea) and she is STILL withholding that $$ from me along with the $$ for the costume I ordered. GIVE ME THE $$ OR AT LEAST THE COSTUME I PAID $80 FOR! She is a horrible teacher and I'm learning that she is also a dishonest person. DO NOT GO THERE. more

My daughter was extremely bored during the majority of the classes. Ms. Cynthia fails to create a fun environment for the children to constructively learn any type of dancing technique beyond ""heal, toe."" Additionally, we opted to purchase a costume for a recital, as it was required by Ms. Cynthia. However, when we told Cynthia our daughter would no longer be attending the school, Cynthia refused to cancel the order. She had claimed it would cost her $15-$20 to cancel the order and replace it--opposed to the $80 I had to spend on a costume we were never going to use. Nevertheless, we continued with this backwards logic, only to not receive the $80 costume at all. Also, we paid our tuition at the beginning of each month. We quit half way (mind you, there was a 30 day cancellation notice as well). At the very end of our 30 notice period, mid month of December, Ms. Cynthia refused to refund us the second half of December's tuition. Moreover, she failed to see why she should HAVE to refund half of December's tuition. It is absolutely amazing that she has made it this far with her business. I will never recommend making the drive to visit the studio or even consider placing your child in Ms. Cynthia's dance classes. more

I took dance lessons from Cynthia back in the 80's and I have never forgot that moment when my dance class had their turn to perform on stage. A lot of great memories with Cynthia at Cynthia's Dance Center. Now, my daughter Kelly is taking dance lessons from her and I can't wait till that moment when she has her chance with her dance class to perform on stage. Happy 31 years to you Miss Cynthia.
