I've lived in the area for years but I never tried Cyd's until the last few years or so. This was my ex-girlfriend's favorite place to get breakfast. She was quite fond of the cheese rolls. As you can imagine, I ended up eating here all the time. Never had a bad word to say. The ladies who work here are really friendly, service is good, and the food is always quite fast. I would definitely recommend eating here. Just don't expect to see me in there if you do. more

Nice place to dine, good food, good help,great coffee. Pros: real good breakfast's an lunch's. Cons: It is only opened till 2 P.M. most of the week. more

The "Dinner For Two" coupon booklet led us from the Cape to New Bedford for an absolutely wonderful meal at Cyd's Creative Kitchen. Cyd's is mainly breakfast and lunch but we visited on a Friday evening, the only night they serve Dinner. ------ We entered Cyd's and were pleased with the cute nautical theme and friendly small town feel. After some antique shopping in town, my first stop was the bathroom which were very clean and modern... so far so good! We were greeted quickly and served drinks. Our waitress was very nice, quick and efficient. Our meals included a soup or salad so for starters we had the Fisherman's Stew and Chix.Rice Soup... both were EXCELLENT with lots of meat. Hubby says his bowl of stew could've been a meal in itself. -------- I ordered the Cornflake Chicken meal which came with a starch and vegetable. Hubby orderd the Triple (seafood combo). Both were EXCELLENT with LARGE portions. Half-way thru the meal, the cook actually came to our table and asked us how our meals were - WOW - when does that ever happen? Pleased to see that he was a clean-cut guy in clean chefs attire - kinda hot too - hee-hee!. -------- Later, the owner approached us for a nice little chat. What a place!! Not only was the food great but the whole staff was great too! They treated us like we were royalty! No kidding!! We were VERY IMPRESSED and wish Cyd's Creative Kitchen was closer to home but we will definitely be back! -------- We got two Whoopie Pies to-go which were SUPER soft and fresh. Pros: Superb!!
