I've been bike riding since my older brother talked me into a 2500 mile ride thirty years ago. I've bought at least six bikes from Cycle Cave. Each time I did shop around. At most shops the sales personnel are hired help, with maybe a few years experience. At Cycle Cave the sales people are the owners, the same people that talk to the manufacturers and distributors and decide what brands to carry. They know the ins and outs/pros and cons of each model and help you find the best bike for your experience, planned biking adventures, and budget. I have found their prices very reasonable and at times less then all competition. Its a family run business and as other reviews state has that atmosphere. This might not be the place if you are looking for the cheapest possible two wheeler, then go to Walmart, but if you are looking for some quality, and want to get a little serious (or real serious), I don't think you can beat the attention and suggestions you'll get from the staff at Cycle Cave. Not only in picking out a bike, but they are equally knowledgeable with bike hardware accessories (speed/distance computers, triathlon bars, car racks), and clothing, shoes, etc. They are also a complete repair shop too.
Pros: Excellent all around bike shop with knowledgeable sale staff.
Cons: Although parking is limited, its appropriate for the size of the store.
