Wow! Somebody's in a bad mood! 9/16/2009

I can't feature what ticked these people off, but in the decades I've frequented any of the Cycle Barn stores, I've never seen anything like what these guys are talking about. I've always had a good experience whether buying a bike or parts. Pros: Knowledgeable, friendly staff Cons: A long drive for me more

Rude, over-priced, terrible dealership 11/17/2007

This is the absolute worst place you could try to purchase a motorcycle. Here is my story. I went in with my bike I still owed on (negative equity) and wanted to purchase a bike that I had my eye on for a while. I was working with another dealership and wanted to get a comparison quote, as most everybody should. I told the salesperson the numbers over the phone and said if you could beat that price, i'll come in and pick it up. He said no problem, we can do that, so I went to the dealership. After 2 hours of the salesperson introducing me to people around the dealership, we decided to work on numbers. They wanted to give me $1200 less on my trade in than the other dealership, they weren't offering the manufactuer's promo that was currently offered (they said they weren't participating) like the other dealship was, and they offered no discount on price and wanted to charge $1400 in freight charges. I just laughed and said you are out of your mind, and the salesperson went back to work on numbers. He came back an hour and a half later and said ""I can't believe my manager worked this out, you are getting a hell of a deal"", and then I looked at the numbers. They worked out a deal that would not include my trade and gave me an out the door price. The out the door price was $400 more than MSRP for last year's model bike! I finally said you are not even going to earn my business and walked out of the store. I went back to the original dealership, traded my bike, got the promo and paid an out the door price that was less than Cycle Barn's best offer. Do not ever go here, they will not give you a good deal, the employees are rude. DON'T GO HERE. Cons: Over priced, rude, high pressure, terrible service more

High pressure, rude bike salesman 7/25/2006

Had money in hand, Triumph salesman just had to let me decide, but he insisted on making the sale immediately, I wanted to think about it and he thought I wasted his time. Maybe he didn't think I could afford it or realize that I am young professional with plenty of $$ to drop. Oh well.... Pros: Cute girls Cons: High pressure sales, rude, condescending more
